When it comes to sending cards from the two of you…who writes and signs?
With us we both sign our own names (unless the other isn’t there and it needs doing quickly) and whoever’s friend/family member it is they write it.
what about you

Depending on who it is for, I’ll write the card and we’ll both sign our name. He has BEAUTIFUL cursive so if I’m feeling fancy I’ll have him write the card!

90% of the time, I write and sign them. If it’s something special for his family, however, he writes them out. For example, his cousin graduated high school last summer and we bought her some gift cards (starbucks, “for when you feel the all nighter coming,” BB&B “for those things you realize you forgot,” Sephora “to treat yourself for surviving your first exam,”) and put them in a book called something like “10 things they don’t teach you in college.” On the inside jacket, DH wrote her a really sweet and funny letter about going to college and making the most out of the next few years.
I’m really good at mail though, and send a lot of cards and letters. So thank-you’s, birthday cards, Christmas cards, etc are mostly my domain.

FI has this random thing where he likes to sign “D.Hasselhoff” at work or at restaurants on the bill. He claims it is his signature – it’s a running joke and not even close to his name. I usually sign both of our names bc he says of he signs it, he will put D. Hasselhoff and I’m pretty sure he would, he He.

I write all the cards. DH’s family doesn’t do cards and he carries on that (non)-tradition.
Sometimes he will sign his name.

I write all of the cards and we both sign them. His handwriting is atrocious.

I write, but he always signs his own name. He actually is very adamant that he sign his own name, every time.

Thank Yous, Christmas, Birthdays etc.
I usually write them, and sign for both of us.

I write & sign for both of us. My husband is usually deployed so if I had to wait for him to get home to sign a card, nothing would go out on time. I joke about wanting a stamp of his signature made.

@FromA2B2013: we do what you do- I write to my family & he to his then we each sign our own name. For some reason he thinks we have to sign in different colors too I’m trying to break him of that habit.
