Who walks back in the wedding recessional?
I honestly only want just the bride/groom, bridesmaids/groomsmen, and flower girl/ring bearer to walk back in the recessional to make everything simpler, and also because our wedding party swelled to a larger size than I’d like, and is going to be a large chunk of the whole wedding leaving (16/60 something guests). I also made some wand streamers that I want everyone to wave as everyone walks back down the aisle. If possible I want the parents and the aunts/uncles that are walking in during the processional waving streamers during the recessional, rather than getting ready to walk. I also think my mom would like to minimize walking in front of everyone because of her disability…
Basically I have more reasons NOT to have everyone walk back out after the ceremony than having them join in, but is leaving some of the family behind in their seats a MAJOR wedding NO-NO that outweighs the benefits of the relatives staying behind after the ceremony?
