we had: groom with his parents, groomsman and bridesmaid, best man, maid of honor, flower girl, and then me and my parents.
you could have your bridal party walk by themselves down the aisle. bridesmaid, best man, then moh.
I have a VERY small wedding party so this is what we're doing :
Groom takes his place
BM walks FIL
My brother walks my mom
MOH walks alone
My dad walks me
If your mother and stepmother get along, I would send them down together Then: grooms' parents together, BMs together, ring bearer, flower girl, you and Dad (assuming that's your goal).
We're doing grandparents, parents (my brother (GM) seats my mother), wedding party (even numbers), ring bearers, flower girls, me & Dad.
My sister has an uneven bridal party....
She has: best man (who happens to be the brides stepdad), matron of honor, 1 bridesmaid, ringbearer, flowergirl, mom, dad, stepmom and grooms dad...
This is how it will work:
Groom and best man (bride's stepdad) will already be at the alter. I have 2 brothers who will be ushers. Once they have people seated, the bride's grandmother will be walked down by one of my brothers. Then the groom's father will be walked down by one of his daughters. My other brother will walk my step-mom down. Brides brother-in-law (my husband) will walk my mom. Next will be the bridesmaid walking alone. Then I (matron of honor) will go alone. Then ringbearer, followed by flowergirl, then bride and her dad.
Sounds confusing when I read it back...so I hope it helps!!!
The groomsmens are pulling double as ushers. Here is our line up
Processional:
Grandparents (his then mine)
Parents (his then my mom)
-The groomsmen will usher the women down the aisle with the respective husband walking behind
Chaplin
Hubby to be
Groomsmen
Bridesmaids, with maid of honor coming out last
Me and my Dad
Recessional:
Basically reverse order with the groomsmen coming back up to escort the grandparents and parents down the aisle. Lastly the chaplin will let everyone they are invited to the reception and where it is.

I am curious how you ladies are having people walk down the aisle during your ceremony?
Also, i have a weird number of people in my bridal party:
1 MOH, 1 BM, 1 BM and no GM, 1 flower girl, 1 ring bearier, my dad, my mom, my stepmom, my dad, grooms dad and grooms mother. any ideas?
