I bet you could find something similar on dafont!
One night I spent like 4 hours looking through all the fonts... (only a bride lol)
@rosworms: I never have bought one before, but I saw this in a magazine tonight and fell head over heels in love. It has a ton of swirly glyphs that you just can't get with a free font :/
It is really pretty, but I agree that you could find very similar something for free.
@Gingersnap: Well... I am a designer, and I know you really can't unfortunately. Boo for that! This font comes with a ton of extra glyphs (which are the swirly parts and letters) that free fonts don't have, at least I have never come across one. The glyphs allow for a much more handwritten, customized look.
@HoneyBear: LOVE dafont :) For everyday things, that site is sooooo awesome. And yes, I can totally sympathize with looking at fonts for hours.. I however am a total font freak anyway LOL
I have to agree, it's really beautiful, but I don't think I could justify paying for a font!
@Gingersnap: tehehe, there is so much to it, I am still learning every single day. I got into designing by chance and learned from scratch, no formal education and there is still so much I have no clue about. I wanna learn how to make fonts... now THAT would be super cool.... then I could share :)
Yeah I was gonna say Dafont.com has lots of free fonts and also 1001fonts.com has free fonts. I would never pay for a font, with all the other things you have to pay for a font should not be one of them.
This one looks kinda similar
http://www.dafont.com/jellyka-western-princess.font
Just look around on dafont.com they have TONS!
Good Luck!!
I completely see what makes that stand out from the free fonts and it is lovely. However, I"m not in the market for a font so I hope you find some ladies who are interested in sharing!
i would also never pay for a font, especially 60 bucks!
... i am sure with some research, you can find it for free...
or at least something extremely similar.
Good Luck.
@JanuraryGirl80: I was gonna recommend looking at the Jellyka fonts on dafont too! They're all super swirly, lol
The problem with free fonts, like from dafont.com, as much as I love them, is that often the kerning or alignment is off. And some combinations of letters just don't work next to each other. A proper font will have alternates you can use. For most projects, I don't think it's a big deal, but if I was designing my entire wedding suite, I'd want it to be just right, and I don't think paying $20 or so is outrageous.
Unfortunately I don't need a font [married now!] but I hope you find someone to share with... I agree it is gorgeous and 12ish each would be great! The 'natural organic fruit line' looks so pretty.
@gocubbies: ouch! totally wish i had found this over a year ago..im in love...
@moara: Totally agreed. That is a huge problem and drives me nuts sometimes, I am just dying to have calligraphy done, but it's pretty expensive :/ This is a great alternative. It'll take some time, but worth it since I like doing it anyway!
@Baileyh: It makes me swoon! I was reading Taste of the South magazine, and this font was in an ad and I totally fell in love instantly! One of those "I have to have this" moments. I took a picture and posted it on a forum at whatthefont.com and I someone else was able to identify it for me!
I totally love it and would be willing to go in for it!
Sent from my Android
@moara: Kerning and alignment can be adjusted easily, even in a program as simple as Word...

This font is licensed for 5 users, which makes it $11.80 each if we can get 5 people. You can send me your part via PayPal (I swear I won't steal it, lol.. I just would like to share!) I am really thinking of using it on my invitations and... what a beautiful font for ENVELOPES!
I can help you with installing it if you don't know much about fonts.
It's called Memoir and you can see the info here.
