    I just came to say yay Canada! I’m not very political though. Even though I just wrote my university final on Canadian history and politics today, still got nothing to contribute :/

    @AB Bride:  I just looked them up. What are they doing right now that makes you think they are socially right wing? That would go against the leader’s libertarian principles.

    @Lemma:  I am out in NB and even I have heard of some of the candidates extreme right wing views! (I hate to even say right wing, paints them them with a bad name… more biggoted then anything.)  While the leader might not personally stand for something, she has allowed candidates to say some “interesting” things without repercussion.

    @AB Bride:  Huh. The idea that they have a right to their own beliefs is very libertarian, but that doesn’t mean that she needs to allow them to be part of her party…

    @Lemma:  You can google, but race-based and anti-gay remarks.  I believe Danielle Smith herself doubts the widely accepted scientific theory that human activity is a leading cause of global warming.
