Someone who has, in the words of Tolkien, “a mind made of metal and wheels,” as that rules out a number of negative qualities that I could not abide in partner, like being a reactionary, being a souless technocrat, being uncreative, or being overly legalistic.

I couldn’t marry a man who is not a feminist, doesn’t believe women are equal to men, has sexist views, acts entitled to male privilege, and who holds me to sexist gender roles or stereotypes.

I don’t think I could marry a white collar worker. Nothing wrong with them, just not compatible with my lifestyle. I adore my trade fiancé, we probably drink too much, swear too much and not have much cash but he’s rugged and great with his hands and same outlook on life 🙂

Most people?

But some of the groups would be:

people who work 80+ hour weeks all the time

People with socially conservative views (though my mom was a fiscal conservative and, thus, a registered republican, so I don’t rule out the whole party)

anyone who doesn’t like to travel

I kind of hate to admit this, but anyone with untreated psychiatric issues (my ex had untreated bipolar throughout our relationship and I realized I couldn’t live like that forever)

And anyone that was Bad with money!
