I feel like a lot of times people get caught up in 1 or 2 issues during election season without looking at the complete picture of a candidate. Yes – someone might have one issue you 100% disagree with them on, but what if you agree about 95% of things?
I feel like sometimes people don’t look at the full picture of a candidates views (on social issues, economic policy, domestic policy, foreign policy, envorinmental issues, immigration issues, healthcare issues, science issues, etc). They grasp ahold of 1 or 2 “hot-button” issues and run with them.
I also think that many people forget (or ignore) that there are more candidates than just the republican and democratic nominees.
Another Bee posted this “candidates quiz” for who’s views you most align with and I really liked it. I really like the “choose another stance” option too since (at least for me) most of these topics aren’t a black and white “yes” or “no”. I also liked how you could adjust how important certain issues are for you.
I’d love for Bees to take it and see if who they think they most agree with is actually accurate. And please share your results if you’re willing!

Here were my results:
I figured I’d most match with Ron Paul but I really can’t get behind his foreign policy beliefs.

@Mrs.KMM: I took that quiz when I saw it posted earlier today… And I cannot copy/paste from my phone but mine was Romney first. ( don’t remember the %) and Ron Paul 2nd.

Mitt and Obama are dead even on my quiz and only at about 70%… yup story of my freaking life

I generally think of myself as relatively well-informed, but I have to say, I have no idea who Jill Stein is, other than that she is awesome. The results didn’t surprise me, though, I know where I differ from the “party platform.” I liked the “other options” in the poll–I hate polls that block you in to yes or no. I had a kid come to my door and ask if supported higher taxes on the middle class to fund education, like those were the only options available… I don’t think he liked chatting with me very much, he seemed anxious to leave.

Oooh interesting. Yet not surprising at all.
89% Barack Obama
85% Jill Stein
65% Gary Johnson
41% Ron Paul
21% Mitt Romney

I did this a few weeks ago and was like 70%ish for Jill Stein. Apparently I live under a rock.
I do wonder who my vote would “really” go towards if I voted for a 3rd party candidate

Mmmkay, this tells me I need to get on top of my politics, because I don’t know who Jill Stein is.

So interested in this. Okay here’s my results.

94% Jill Stein, 82% Obama. I’m not surprised.

I’m 92% Barak Obama, haha.
Not surprised at all! Apparently I agree with Mitt Romney on “No major issues”. Yep – that about sums it up!
