@gigglebox:  Eep! An outdoor wedding in October would not work for me as a guest. I get cold so easily. I would send you a gift and pass on freezing my buns off, lol 😛

@gigglebox:  This will sound stupid, but I would hate my hair blowing in my face and getting caught in my lip gloss 😛 The blankets are a good idea though. I just did the conversion (on my phone) and 75 is about 24 for me (in Canada). That isn’t cold at all. I was picturing like 10, which is 50 for you. I changed my mind. I will come to the wedding now 😀

I was going to be like “WHO IS THIS TERRIBLE PERSON HAVING A BEACH WEDDING IN OCTOBER”

But then I saw that you’re from Georgia, and it’s beautiful and bright and sun shine-y where you live!

So as a guest, I would definitely be in!

@gigglebox:  The weather will be perfect.  It’s always beautiful the week of Halloween, hence why we’re getting married that week too.  It’s tracking to be in theupper 70s, low 80s that week.  (Historical data is a bit skewed because it’s been hotter that time of year the past few years.)  We live here and we much prefer the beach in October when the humidity is low to August when it’s hot as balls and packed with tourists.

If you’re worried about last minute decor, hit up one of the beach/shell shops once you get down here.  Most shops sell beach themed gear year round for the tourists.

@MrsPanda99:  She’s having it in Florida so the weather will be plenty warm enough.  Low temps are in the 60s (F).

@gigglebox:  I think you’ll be fine! I think providing blankets would be a cute touch, also keep any complaints at bay. Sound fun, I love the fall weather (albeit a little cooler here in Ontario) when its warm and sunny during the day and cooler at night.

As a guest, I would be very grateful for a blanket to keep me warm. But in the end, the guests are there to support you and they’ll deal with some possible sub-par weather. Everyone was sweating at my wedding. They dealt. And my cousin got married on the beach right before a hurricane. I shit you not. The ceremony was delayed by about 40 minutes because it was raining so hard and she refused to move it inside. Everyone ran back to their cars or huddled under a nearby gazebo. But you know what? We waited. We chatted and joked and had fun. Then when there was a break in the weather, we all ran back to the site and had the ceremony. It was great. A few sprinkes during the ceremony but it was fine. And the weather kind of bonded everyone together because we felt like we had braved the weather, so we were really awesome and devoted wedding guests.
