Whole 30 Recipes?!

I’m actually on the third day of the Whole 30 challenge!

I came here to give you my recipe for a tasty chicken I especially like! (Thou, I use a food processor, so I don’t have the timings for “normal cooking” procedures…)

500gr of chicken (the recipe asks for drums, but I prefer sirloins)

1 garlic clove

1/4 onion

1/4 green pepper

1/4 red pepper

1/4 yellow pepper

1 carrot

3 tomatoes

olive oil

60 gr of water



nut meg


What I do is to put olive oil on a tall frying pan (or sauce pan if you prefer) and fry the garlic on low heat until it has a nice golden colour. Then, add the onion, peppers and carrots (I cut them super small) and sautée them until soft (around 10 minutes) on medium-low heat. Then, add the chicken (I cut it as well in small bits), the tomatoes, the water, the salt, the pepper and the nut meg and leave on medium-low heat for about 25 minutes (or until done).

The chicken absorbs so much flavour and it’s soft and delicious!

What I like about using my food processor is that it shreds the chicken… So yummy!

@skinnypinkmartini:  That’s sounds delish. I’ll defintely try this.

I did Whole 30 last year but didn’t stick to it, I’m going to get back on track though. It works.
