Sam's Club is where I'm ordering back up flowers from for my son's wedding and if they are good, I will use them for my daughter's next June. I'm pretty much outraged at floral fees- I get the labor involved... but the markup is incredible for something even simple.
David Tuttera always has a rose company out of Columbia supply My Fair Wedding- They might have the name on his website.
I haven't seen the goods yet, but I ordered my wedding flowers from fiftyflowers and they had great selection and lots of rose petal mixes to choose from. I did a lot of research on them and most people said they were a good vendor. Also, my sister-in-law used costco flowers and they turned out very nice.
My cousin recommended that I check out 2groses.com right after we got engaged. She said she's had a few friends that have used them and had wonderful results!
Also, a few months ago I was looking at the DIY pages, and there was a ribbon covered coffee can with a grid pattern across opening at the top of the can. Easy way to have inexpensive vases ready to slap some flowers in without having to spend hours arranging!
I also third fiftyflowers, I just thought they had a great selection and the prices were really great.
I realize this thread is old but for future brides who are still researching I used Sam's Club and they were wonderful.
I used www.Flowers4Vases.com for my wedding in September. This guy Scott was amazing he was very knowledgeable with wedding flowers. I saved hundreds of dollars and the flowers so fresh we had to put the lilies in warm water to get them to burst open. I would highly recommend Flowers4vases you don't need a tax or a resale certificate to buy from them

Sorry, there are no users yet.
I have completely ruled out a florist, because they are too expensive. Not a problem, I am practically DIYing my entire wedding except the cake and the photography.
But, I have seem some good prices on some wholesale flower supplier websites, like wholeblossoms.com, rosesource.com, growersbox.com, freshnessandflowers.com, 2groses.com, and so on and so on, not to mention places like Costco.
Has anyone ordered even a single roses or some rose petals from one of these places, and had a good experience. Wedding is in 2.5 months and still dont know where to get my flowers! Yikes!
PLEASE, share your wholesale, DIY flower experiences and suggestions. Thanks!
