I know there are tons of posts on Wholesale flowers , I just got about 1/2 of my order today. I ordered from 2 companies. spray roses from Farmstogo.com  , and ranunculus & garden roses from fiftyflowers.com we grew everything else. The spray roses are nice ( what can I say they are spray roses) the colors are spot on though which is very good. The ranunculus are BEAUTIFUL though. very large and vibrant! just a heads up. Good luck ladies!! I'll give an update on my gardens roses tomorrow when they arrive.

How are you storing them to keep them fresh and amazing?  I'm just wondering because I have a huge garden, but I'd have to clip them at least 3 days before the wedding...

I got buckets from homedepot and bought flower food in a jug online , but I can't remember where. I'm keeping them in an extra bathroom where it's dark and cool . The flowers from yesterday are opening up lovely and will be nice and full on saturday. I've been changing the water every 24 hours and recutting the stems at the same time.

I got the garden roses today , my house smells yummy at this point. I was a little concerned when they arrived they were droopy, I got  panicky and called , they assured that I was caring for them the right way. Sure enough they've been in water about half an hour now and are perking right up.

If you are cutting from the garden ,make sure they are not fully open for roses and such. You don't want them to be at peak the day BEFORE your wedding. I'm by no means an expert but have been bummed out in the past by cutting roses in full bloom on the bush and having them a saggy mess the next day.

    good luck doctorgirl!

I'll try to post pics today or tomorrow but i'll have to find my camera.Wholesale Flowers : wedding Icon Redface

BunnyBlue, I'm really glad you posted this.  I've been debating whether I wanted to include garden roses from fiftyflowers in my DIY flowers, and was worried about the quality (not for any reason, I just worry).  This puts my mind at ease.  Can I ask, what color did you order?  I wish I could have ranunculus, but my wedding is in July.
