I am doing the centerpieces and ceremony flowers for my daughters wedding in Sept. Has anyone ordered from Fifty Flowers.com or some other website? How was the delivery? Did the flowers arrive in good shape and last until the wedding? Any recommendations are appreciated. We are from Colorado but havbe to arrange for direct shipping to Moab, Utah. Thanks in advance, for taking the time to read and answer this post.

I ordered my flowers from fiftyflowers.com
I had a destination wedding so I was a little nervous about them getting delivered to the condo that I was staying at. I scheduled them to be delivered 2 days before my wedding and they arrived on time, they dropped them off at the front desk for me to pick up. They also called to make sure that I had received the flowers. I cut them and put them in mop buckets of water as soon as I got them and it’s been over a week and my bouquet still looks great. I did get carnations which tend to last a long time and do well with little water anyway so I’m sure that’s part of it. There were only a few broken flowers out of the 300 that I ordered. It was definitely some work doing my own flowers but I think it was worth it. I’ll attach some pictures for you to see.

Those pictures are awesome– are those coffee beans? Such a great idea!
I’m also thinking of DIYing my flowers and ordering them from fiftyflowers.com so I’m interested to see more responses. Specifically, I’m thinking about the Gerbera daisies.
By The Way: I found this website that shows how to make wedding bouquets, etc., that you might be interested in. http://www.budget-bride.com/DIY%20Gerbera%20Main.htm At the bottom of the page, there’s a link that says “Do It Yourself.” If you click on that, it shows you how to do rose bouquets, corsages and bouts too.

Youtube has a lot of DIY videos! There’s a great series from the floral institute (I think).
I have only heard great things about fifty flowers!
