I’m kinda bummed…Last cycle we really thought I was KU’d…AF showed up and so we shall try again! Started charting again, and FF was predicting that I’d ovulate last weekend (the 13th or 14th). I haven’t been feeling well, I’ve had a terrible ache in my lower right abdomen, and spent quite a bit of time last week in ER trying to figure out what it was, so BD’ing wasn’t a priority for us last week. Once we found out it wasn’t anyting too serious (just a muscle strain) we were planning on lots of BD’ing over the weekend, hoping to match up with ovulation perfectly. Darn FF told me on Sunday that I probably ovulated on Tuesday the 9th of July!!! That is only 10 days into my cycle! ARRRRRRRRGHHHHHHHH….I guess we missed the boat this cycle! I told Darling Husband we’ll have to be every other day BD’ers from now on since my O day seems to be pretty random.
Has anyone else had early ovulations? How do you predict, when your body insists on having a special schedule?

How many cycles have you been charting? Sometimes it takes a few to start seeing a pattern. I hope you catch your O soon and get your BFP!!

Thanks jny1179! This is my fourth month charting….First month O was day 12 of cycle, second it was day 15, third was day 13 and now day 10. I told my Darling Husband we need to do it every other day to be sure we do catch my O day! I guess I could use OPK’s…but I think that would make me completely obsessive. And I’m really worried that our intimate time will be on a schedule, which my hubby would hate. Why can’t my body just be normal?

Thanks FreckledFox! I should post there more often. I’m just starting to get the hang of (or maybe not so much) all this TTC!

I got random Crosshairs CD8 this month so I thought that was really weird…I didnt have any symptoms and knew I hadn’t ovulated…it turned out that I got some temps that were a bit off and the CH moved to CD 18. My advice is to keep BDing anyway, you might still have a chance!

@Songbird29: I would definitely suggest OPKs, because then at least you have an idea when your body is gearing up to ovulate… temping verifies that you O’d but by the time the temp increases, you already did.

My ovulation day varies between CD11 and CD15, but my LP is always 14 days. I used OPKs to check, even though we BD every other day anyway, it reassured me to know we were definitely not missing it! I didn’t find charting stressful, i found it fascinating working out how my cycles worked!

@Songbird29: Try using OPKs. Sometimes FF can off with your O times. It happens.
