How many of you bees are applying to become a Bee (with a capital "B"!)? Or how many of you have already applied?

I was just noticing everyone's wedding dates and how much talent there is in the hive and how active everyone is! How many of you are hoping to be in the next bee generation?

How active in the hive were the current Bees before they became Bees?

These kind of statistics are always so fascinating to me!

I want to apply - I even have an application started, but I think I'm getting cold feet or something - I've been putting a lot of work into my personal blog, but I can't get myself to get my butt in gear and to finish my application. I was partially discouraged after the two monikers I really wanted (Fro Yo and Dachshund) were taken. I can't wait to see what the next generation will be!

I applied, but I think I know what I need to redo in my blog. And I need to take more pictures! So I plan on reapplying in about a month...

melodicsighs I am also excited for the new generation of bees! I'm sure they'll be adorable! :)

I read a lot of the boards, but didn't actually write anything before applying. I think I probably had like 5 posts, but I gained a lot of knowledge just through reading.

@melodicsighs: sorry I took one of the monikers you were interested in, but there are so many great other ones and the cute generations keep coming!

I would LOVE to apply but I don't have a wedding-related blog!  I have a blog on horror movies, and that is hard enough to keep up...I can't imaging managing two!

I'm hoping to apply one day.  Weddingbee is what inspired me to read blogs and start my own.  It's slow coming, but I'm working on being consistent with it and maybe one day 'having what it takes' to be a Bee!

@ Frozen Yogurt: haha, oh no need to apologize! It totally makes sense that yours was the first junk food icon to go - it's just so great. :)

I'm waiting patiently for the next generation, and I'm sure there will be ones I love there too! (Besides, I haven't even applied yet so you certainly earned the right to choose first.)

I had about 250 posts accumulated before I became a Bee.  I was definitely obsessed with WB, but I didn't post a whole lot.  I refreshed a million times a day and always joined in on BeeTV!

I was so nervous to submit my application to blog!  And completely shocked when I heard that I was accepted.

    And on a side note, @Melodicsighs: we're date twins  : )

I have to admit I started a blog just to see if I could keep it up and it's been going very well! At this point, I may or may not apply, but either way I love having an outlet! :)

I will NOT apply to become a bee :)

I don't have time to blog & due to my FI's job it could cause him problems at work!! A few years ago I had a myspace page w/ photos of the 2 of us up & his boss demanded I remove it.

I enjoy just reading the blogs more than anything!

@ Dachshund: I KNOW! haha, when you were fist introduced, I screamed out to my Fiance and said "AHH MISS DACHSHUND HAS BEEN TAKEN AND SHE'S GETTING MARRIED ON OUR WEDDING DAY! THAT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE ME!!!" haha - then, I got over it. ;) I'm glad you're a part of the hive, and it would be cool if I get picked too, so then we can be date twin bees. :)

I think that I will probably apply. It's too early as we prob won't get married until fall/winter of 2010... plus I'm not actually engaged yet! :) But, I already have a blog and I think that when I get engaged I'll shift it to wedding focus.

If any of you would like feedback on your blog or advice on applying, please PM me! Since I was rejected twice before I was accepted, I'm always very interested to read up and coming bloggers who are wannabees! ;)

(Just as a clarification, except for my one vote as a member of the "committee," I have no say in who gets chosen to be a bee! I'd just like to help you out any way I can.)

I kept meaning to apply but I ran out of time...I'm getting married on November 1st! I was just too busy with all of our DIY projects - we're having a Halloween-themed wedding and I've been swamped.

If I ever get engaged lmao I would love to apply but I don't think that I can because I'm an event designer... Although I wonder myself how I'm going to merge the two into exquisite damask black and white and aqua and poppy fabulousness (okay today that's what the colors may be.. when he finally asks who knows?! LMAO)

I applied once...and was rejected. I think a big factor was my, um, lack of blogging over the summer. I've been running my blog (http://charmypants.blogspot.com) since last November, but I slacked off over the summer. Granted, I was working full time at Disney World, so at least there was an excuse...however, once I got rejected, I plunged into blogging like a frickin' full-force torpedo! I'm just scared that I'm too similiar to other Bees to be picked...but, then again, there aren't any March brides on the roster yet. Until I get my rejection (or acceptance?) email, I shall still hope. :)

(On a downer note, I'm a major lurker on the boards. I'm on here all the time, but I never comment. Sad day.)

I am thinking about it... I used to post on here a lot, but I am more of a person that likes to read the boards...and read and read some more.  I know that I need a few more blog posts, but I really cant find motivation to when I don't see any audience on them... I love to share my ideas and get feed back and such, but when there is no one communicating with me it just all seems pointless...

I started a blog, then stopped due to work/school being crazy.  Sometimes I want to appy so badly because there is a lack of winter Bees, especially ones getting married in romantic, snowy locales.  But with my date only 3.5 months away, it seems too late.

I may do that once the ring lands!  I like my blog.  It's fun doing it.  Fulfills that crazy creative side of me!

I got alot of time though.  We're not altar bound until either late July or August or even as late as Labor Day!
