I started my blog for more of a "diary for imaginary friends"....Now that I'm hooked on Weddingbee, I've considered applying. The problem is, nothing is set in stone. We don't even have a date yet!!! So once details start getting lined up, I hope to apply.
But for now, I post occasionally, then I have nothing to write about....
Good luck everyone! I stalked this thread when it was first started, but didn't want to post on it because I didn't want to jinx myself, lol. I was so intimidated to apply after reading that all of you wonderful ladies were applying too.
I've been stalking this thread for a while....it's so exciting to see that 50 is finally a bee!
I do have my secret desire to apply when the time comes too!

I applied and was rejected ... I think I was a bit too early not so much wedding date wise as project wise. I am not starting anything for a few more months so I am at a hold point. I think I will reapply in a few months.
Hah! Yes, cut me out. :p
@Champ- The first go-round I was at the same point. I think it's easier to do stuff once you've gotten projects underway.
i think i will be applying as soon as it turns 2010!... need to beef up my blog a bit, but i can't wait! i'm excited just to be able to apply in a month!! :)
I'm still waiting to hear! I'm pretty sure I'll be rejected lol. I think my blog's boring!! haha!

I got my rejection letter too :( It's weird. It's sad, I'm not as sad as I thought I'd be. I'll be working on the blog for the next 4 weeks since I don't have to focus on school &see what happens then!
I just applied last week! Btw, it was really sweet how some of you said you wish I would apply...so, I DID!!!

Hi all! I've kept my blog mostly to myself (trying to save face, I suppose?). I applied in December and got a big lump of "no" right before Christmas. :(
If anyone wants to read and give me some suggestions/comments/critiques, well, that would be most wonderful of you! I think my stubborn self wants to apply again, but I'm nervous...

@Miss Cake - I'd really wait till the end of February to apply if I were you... the sole reason they may be rejecting you is because your wedding is outside of their timeline!
@Gilneas - I figured I'd have to wait til then. I think after reading some of those "A Bee's Life" things and hearing that some of those bees applied early I thought I'd test my luck!
I just started my wedding blog yesterday with hopes of applying in about a month. I religiously read weddingbee, but rarely post. It's been such a help with planning all the deets of our big day.
I came across this post b/c I was reading an old blog post by Mrs. Lamb. This is so cool to see so many bees posting before they knew if they would be accepted :)
Anyone thinking of applying? I would love to - my wedding is too far now, but I'm thinking of starting my own blog and seeing if I have it in me . . .
Oh wow, this thread.. it just goes to show ya, you can always try again!! I know I did! Imagine if these bees stopped writing and trying...
