Hi Bellenga! I've started blogging recently on my wedding website and one I created through here...it's my way of keeping a journal and also venting! I give advice everyday to my co-workers, friends and clients at work so I figured why not blog about it! I'm trying to be better at it but get busy sometimes and can't get in the time I'd like to! I love your blog and have found that other blogs on here have inspired me to try it! I'm getting more open about my creative side and have tried to put more time into that as well...thanks for inspiring us!
I've been keeping a wedding-related blog at Major Minutiae. Although I'm still a lady in waiting I plan on reutilizing a lot of the posts after the engagement so I can apply for the bee! It would be a great experience. And good for my resume. ;)
Ultimately, I'm a writer, so it's only natural for me to want to write about such a pivotal experience. And like bellenga, I want a keepsake! I love reading back over times in my life, to remember how it was, and see how much has changed or stayed the same.
I want to get into blogging but I can never keep up with it! Not that mine would be any interest to you guys since I'm not planning anymore!
I'm blogging too, but not to become a bee. I've started blogging again because I used to blog like, every SINGLe day. But then I stopped in college when i was soo busy.
So, now I'm blogging again because I LOVE looking back and seeing how I got where I am now. It helps me realize that everything happens for a reason. :)
There are some wedding related posts and then, just some personal ones.
So who's bee-ing? I'm excited mine has as of last week, been added to their list of wanne bee bloggers!
I love my blog. It's about my wedding planning journey as an encore bride!
Lol I blog I haven't been there as regularly as usual due to the holidays, and I won't blog to be a bee because I can't be a bee anyway lol, I just do it as a sort of diary.
I love the idea of blogging, and being able to share my wedding plans and ideas with people but I haven't gotten too into my wedding blog because I've felt really private when it comes to some aspects of my life lately, AND it's sometimes hard to blog if you're not getting comments or know people are reading (yeah, those two don't go together, right?).
Plus I'd love to be a Bee, but can't 'cause I work in the wedding industry, and when I discovered that it kind of popped my bloggin' balloon. I do love reading wedding blogs, and wish I could kick my blogging ass back in gear.
I would love to be a Bee! I'm so not that dedicated of a blogger though so it isn't going to happen. But I do blog on daily life occasionally... very occasional!
Weddingbee got me totally addicted to blogs and I started a non wedding blog called Love and Happiness and just recently decided to start a wedding blog to try to apply to be a bee.
I'm not currently blogging for the application process, but I may eventually apply later on. I have things booked and decided, but very few material things have happened, so I figure it's better to wait.
I've been blogging since September, before I knew about weddingbee. I blog pretty regularly at www.girlwitharing.com and might apply to blog here in a little while.
I have a non-wedding focused blog that I've had for years. Once I found the 'bee I was sure I would apply to become a bee, but then once the time rolled around,I wasn't sure if I could make the commitment. So I decied not to apply. I do love reading everyone elses stories though!
i've been keeping a personal blog for a few years now and finally got around to getting a wedding-related blog up. i'm still waiting but i have a lot of thoughts on the topic and figured since i was eventually going to start one anyway and i didn't want to clutter my personal blog with all the wedding talk, i'd go ahead and start writing. i write for myself though i did really want to one day blog for the 'bee. but i found that thought was hampering my writing so i had to stop thinking about it. lol. so hopefully when i get engaged and am planning i'll have developed my voice enough to not feel paralyzed by the thought of applying.
you can check my blog out here: love.talda.com
I blog to keep my head on straight, and it's just plain fun! I'm also not AT ALL a writer, so it's a fun challenge for me. I'm an art kid who's craftily-challenged, and the world is my living room. So, I guess, that's why I do it.
I have a few different blogs that I write for, most are work related. The one I most often write for is 3 Healthy Chicks I also have another work related blog, Vibrant Health, Green Living. Neither are "personal" per se...
Once Stephen and I are officially engaged, I will start a more personal blog to document the whole engagement and wedding planning process. I am definitely a Wannabee!!
I blog, but not about weddings, about....horror movies! I've been doing for over two years, but over the last six months to a year, I've really revved up my blogging frequency. I'm hoping to someday get a gig on the side writing horror movie reviews (maybe even not for free!) In the meantime, it's my creative outlet as I've always wanted to be a writer and I'm currently stuck in the boring corporate world ;op

I started a blog because of Weddingbee so I can apply.
But I learned that it's a good way to think through my ideas, force me to deal with wedding planning for a little while (I'm a procrastinator), and record this process. FH recently said he likes reading it because it's making him remember our dating-moving in together-engagement journey.
It's also a really great creative outlet and is getting me excited about writing again. I'm at www.newmemphis.blogspot.com if anyone wants to take a look!
I love blogging! I have mine: www.meagangetshermrs.com and I love that it allows me to organize my thoughts and gush and whatnot about this process. It's interesting to me to see the progression of my ideas and how things are shaping up.
I filled out my application last week and am waiting oh-so-patiently until I can submit it. I'd love to be a Bee.
After several failed attempts (pre-weddingbee) I finally got my blog up and running. There are only a few posts so be gentle. I think I might apply. Not 100% sure yet. Here it is if you're interested:
I love reading the blogs and one day I'd love to start my own...but that day hasn't come (yet!) :0)
I started blogging for weddingbee, but I do love to keep myself organized & share my plans with everyone. I really think it will be cool to look back & read what I was going through!
I agree with Pmerr! I like to blog as a way of remembering everything in the future! It would be fun to print the blog out after the wedding as a keepsake :)
I started blogging to keep all my thoughts in one place - I try to update it often, but I fail most of the time. I have no plans to apply because I stink at DIY and like I said, I'm not really great at blogging often. I LOVE reading what all the ladies have to say and following all the projects - it's just not for me. I hope you all get chosen so the rest of us can say we knew you when... LOL
I am a PSE bride and still applying. Someone has to represent the Pay Someone Else brides out there!
I hope to get around to a "why I blog" post that the bees have been doing. But I basically started for myself as well and to inspire anyone who stumbled upon my blog. Then a friend introduced me to WB and the rest is history!
I'm on the flip side of things. My wedding has passed and I blog since a) I loved my wedding planning and b) I wanted to provide inspiration for other brides. I loved certain sites during the planning process but really felt like I wanted to post some pretty real wedding pics that would inspire others. And it's really neat to look back and see how styles are changing and what trends are becoming popular.

I love blogging! I started it as a way to show my friends/family my wedding planning process (everyone is out of town)...and I realized that I absolutely loved putting my ideas out there and getting feedback from the blogging world! :)
I blog. But not so much for a 'bee application' but because I need an outlet. A way to keep my head on straight, and get down to some of the tough issues. I don't plan on applying to be a bee. I just love writing and being able to look back and see how far I've come.
Ok, so I started bee blogging finally. I said I wasnt really going to start until after the ring was on my finger....but I couldnt help myself. I started anyway. I have so much fun blogging and I found that my own little wedding blog is the best place to put down all my crazy ideas and inspirations! :D
I've already started my wedding planning blog, and I will apply to the Bee, but I have a long wait since our engagement is a little over 2 years. About half of my posts are DIY inspiration, and the other half are personal planning aspects. So I'll still have a lot to write about.
I love blogging for the organization that I work for, and have off and on considered applying to be a bee. The things that are holding me back are a) my FI is pretty private and I don't know how he would feel about me posting personal stuff about our wedding, and b) at this point, my wedding is only 3 months away.
I know you can't apply if you have more than 8 months until your wedding, but is there a limit on how CLOSE to your wedding you can be in order to be selected as a Bee?

I decided a few days after T and I got engaged that I would apply to be a bee. Yup, I did. And I've been blogging for quite a while now. (www.theencorebride.blogspot.com)
I have chosen to begin blogging because for me, it's a way to see my style and vision of the day evolve. And it's also a fun way to remind myself of the journey I've been on for the last year. In fact, as we near the end of my days as a single woman, I plan to print it all off and keep it as a keepsake!
As of late, with the changes in my family life (grandma's health), it's also a way for me to work out my feelings.
So that's why I blog. Why do you? What's your goals with blogging? Tell me about it!
