I changed! It was just easier since my dress was so darn tight! pics attached-- my wedding dress was beautiful, and I really didn't WANT to take it off, but it was killing my ability to breath. ehh, the things you put up with for beauty. Anyway, my get away dress was by Pheobe.
Oo your wedding dress is gorgeous! Whos it by and the name? I love the mermaid trumpet look!
Ooo, cute dress! Oh and yeah, I think if I had a choice, I'd totally get a corset back.
As for having a second dress, I haven't decided. I love my dress and really want to wear it the entire night but after trying it on again, I'm reconsidering.
I love the short dresses! I think they are so cute!
I want to wear my dress all night long because I love it so much, but it weighs close to 20 pounds, so I'm a little nervous about it... I had it on for 15 minutes for my first fitting and I could totally feel it after! I just can't justify spending so much on one dress and only wearing it half the night.
Cute dresses! However, I am keeping my same dress through ceremony to reception.....
i want to change, but i don't know which one yet given i haven't even found my wedding gown!!!
I didn't, but wish I had! I didn't change until right before we left for the honeymoon, because I didn't want to take my dress with me.
I changed!
I went from GIANT ballgown
To a cute vintage-inspired reception dress (with birdcage veil!!!)
(excuse the sweaty-ness and sun burn!!!)

Hi there!! It's style Jane from Priscilla of Boston-- I secretly still try it on every once in a while (it's hanging in the guest bedroom since the wedding...) I just love it. To each her own.
I don't think I could bear to take off my wedding dress after all the money I'm probably going to spend on it! But if you have a lighter option, I'm sure its awesome to have a getaway dress! These reception dresses are awesome! I love that they are a completely different style and you can work two different looks on your wedding day!

I was looking at dresses. And i was thinking maybe halfway through reception when all there is to do is dance dance dance i was thinking of buying a short dress. I saw at a bridal store the casablanca short dress. Its so cute in person. The store actually made it into a corset dress which i would bd def looking into doing.
What you think? Anyone else doing something like this?
