@BurlapnLace:  yeah I was also toying with dipping pretzels in chocolate or chocolate covered oreos. I like to bake so it wouldn’t be that hard to do. I can’t decide…

@BurlapnLace:  We are! I read about the idea as an alternate to cake, and FI and I loved it. The pricing is great, and like you say, they can be personalized.

We’re doing cupcakes! Your flavors sound delish, makes me wish we were having a fall or winter wedding!

On the flip side we do get to have some summer flavors though: lemon blueberry, raspberry lemonade, and raspberry filled vanilla and chocolate!

We’re doing mini cupcakes, macarons and shooters! Also s’mores because our venue has an awesome bonfire pit. We’re cutting a jumbo cupcake. We’re not big pastry/cake people so this makes everyone happy 🙂

@BurlapnLace:  We will be having cupcakes and pies – love being able to give people options!! And who can say no to a cupcake!? Ours will be so reasonably priced – probably around $160 for enough pie and cupcakes for close to 200 guests!

We had about 6 or so different flavors of cupcakes at our at-home reception. They were a huge hit. I wish I had a good photo of the set-up. If I can find one, I’ll share.

@BurlapnLace:  We’re doing cupcakes! Our flavors are lemon with raspberry filling, banana with caramel filling, and french vanilla with no filling. Its going to be at least $100 cheaper with more portions for everyone.

I did! From my favorite cupcake bakery. They’re soooo good. We got three different flavors and only had like 15 cupcakes left over at the end. Duh, because they’re delicious.

I’m doing cupcakes – I figure more choice and I think guests will like them better. Plus it makes it easier to cater for my many coeliac relatives, and for my little sister who is both vegan and coeliac!

I have this weird little cupcake obsession, I LOVE cupcakes, it was all I ever wanted at my wedding. Our guests loved it. We had regular sized and minis. The flavours were Lemon with buttercream frosting, Vanilla bean salted caramen, Dark chocolate and mocha frosting and red velvet. Also our groom’s cake was a giant cupcake which was butter pecan and frosted to look like Camo.
