urchin:  I am due Sept 4 and I am feeling pretty good for the most part. ALL of my joints are starting to hurt (fingers, knees, feet, back/hips, etc) and I’m swollen all over but overall it’s good. I am excited and nervous and terrified all at the same time. My friends try to calm me down and say everything will be okay and it will all “just come natural” and that works for a little bit.

My doctor brought up induction yesterday because my blood pressure is starting to creep up but isn’t in the danger zone yet and she thinks my little guy may be on the big side. She’s thinking 39 weeks if my BP is still going up or maybe closer to 40 weeks if I can keep it stable and my cervix hasn’t done anything yet.

urchin:  The bottoms of my feet are killing me too! Especially when I first wake up in the morning. When I start walking the muscles are so tight I feel like I am going to snap them in half with each step.

I am still working and plan to until I can’t anymore, either by the doctor telling me to stop or having the baby. It’s an office job so I’m at a desk most of the day and we are in a little bit of a slow slump so it’s not too busy. I am taking it easy at home and watching the sodium in my diet which seems to be helping the BP some.

Do you have any feelings on what you are having? I wanted to wait to find out but my husband was going to find out wether I did or not so I figured I better join the party 🙂

I’m due September 15. I’m feeling excited to finally see my son’s face. But I’m also feeling nervous because I still have so much to do before he arrives. And I’m getting a little nervous about giving birth. The third trimester is going by quickly for me. I am tired of the sore back and hips, the heartburn, the constant need to pee and not being able to sleep through the night because of all these things. But I can’t really complain because it has been an easy pregnancy and soon enough, it will be over and I’ll be holding my baby!

I’m technically due October 15, but was diagnosed with GH 2 weeks ago (I’m 31 weeks today). My doctor doesn’t think we’ll make it to 34 weeks, let alone 40. So chances are baby will be late August or Sept, but we’re hoping for Sept!! I think even if things go well they’ll induce me around 37 weeks, which would put me in late Sept. So I can count, right?! 🙂

This is my first. I think it’s fear of the unknown that makes me nervous. I keep telling myself billions of women have done this before me, so I’ll be fine. Lol

I’m due September 22, but hoping to go about 2 weeks sooner than that! I am so excited, I absolutely cannot wait to meet our baby! But I am also nervous…. not so much about labor, but about life with a newborn They always say that once that baby is born, all yopu can think about is them. I hope that is true because I will need it…. right now, all I can do is think about how miserable it will be to be waking up constantly….. I just have visions of life being an endless cycle of sleep for 2 hours – get worken up- feed baby – soothe baby- change poopy diapers – listen to baby cry – repeat. So I really hope that I am able to embrace it!

Otherwise this has been an easy pregnancy. Granted, right NOW I feel like a whale. I can’t move. My knees ache from the extra weight. I am sick of having to pee constantly. But nothing too bad.

I need to get my hospital bag packed. I think a trip to target is in my future to get some stuff like shelf bra tank tops and slippers. It feels weird to be 31 weeks but also be thinking I need to get myself in gear.
