It just dawned on me that I would be needed two bouqets, one for myself and one to throw.  Is anyone else doing this? Or do most brides just have one and throw that one?

I am not having a bouquet toss....however,I know it is most common to have your bouquet, and a "toss bouquet"  Your florist should have mentioned that to you.  I don;t of any brides who threw their actual bouquet.

I'm not sure what I'm going to do yet. But I think it's a good idea to have two bouquets that way you can toss one and preserve your real bouquet.

Most people get a toss bouquet but the great thing is, is that most florist offer a complementary toss bouquet when you get your wedding flowers through them. For example the flower shop I use to work at, if the bride got her bouquet and a bridesmaids bouquet we would supply the toss bouquet as a thank you. Most shops do that so its definitely something you should at least look into or ask about.

LIke we see in movies, the bride always throws her own bouqets, I never see a second one anywhere, and who would be holding on to the second one? Gosh, more things to add on the my list!

@ tammy, it's much smaller than your bouquet, and you have it in a small vase at the head table or something before the toss....no one will notice the swap.  Bridal bouquet's are expensive! I cant imagine throwing mine anywhere!
