It's a weird slushy/rainy thing going on right now at our house in South Minneapolis! I kind of love being snowed in.
We have been getting tons of snow here in Wisco. If it has to be winter, it might as well have snow ;). It makes it so sunny, I love it. But right now I feel a little cabin fever-y from being trapped- we have freezing rain :/
Can't read thread. Giving. Me. Anxiety. LOL I wouldn't mind if I didn't have something big planned for tomorrow. Maybe I won't have to go to work on Monday?
@ILikePink: I livei n South MPLS and am about to leave to drive to the mall for work. Cue panic attacks. If my FI wasn't going in to the stame place I would probably just call in...even though I am the manager ;) Who the heck is going to be shopping today???
I am kind of excited about it! It looks like we already have a foot in some spots. I think it is blowing a round a lot. I am so glad St. Paul declared a snow emergency this morning!
This is the perfect day to finish decorating my xmas tree!

tons of snow down here in Rochester! I'm going to stay inside today and bake Christmas cookies. We finished decorating our tree last night when it was ice raining!
The snow has officially reached insane proportions here. We are baking and vegging out, cars on our block are like, buried.

It actually isn't too bad around here. We are still planning to go out tonight. I would say we've maybe gotten 4 inches but it is blowing around sooo much!
Wow only 4?! We've gotten at least 12" here. I am happy that your party isn't going to be shut down by the snow.
I'm in Minneapolis and just finished a grueling few weeks in the research lab. I know it's awful for a lot of people, but today is a perfect day for me to be snowed in.
I went snow-shoeing, so much fun!

We made it about 6 blocks before turning around and coming home. We closed our stores. The owner is planning on use being open tomorrow. I seriously doubt I will be able to make it in but heres hoping! I never miss work, so this is weird to me.
But we were able to finish packing (moving in a week). Ahhh!!
I'm with cbee in wisconsin- we're on blizzard warning until tomorrow night at 6! Should be getting around a foot or so of snow where I am- hooray!

And Holidazzle was canceled for the first time ever too!
I'm sooooooooo ready for a snowflake or two, but I don't think we'll get any down here in Georgia. BooHoo!!!!!!!!
Our town is shutting down, declaring a state of emergency :/ (Because of the ice and snow!) I hope that means DH doesn't have to work tomorrow! They already canceled a lot of Churches in the area!
Hope everyone is safe and enjoying the snow! We are totally snowed in near the airport. We can barely get the back door open and the cars have snow well above the wheel wells. And with the temp at -3 with the windchill, I'm not even thinking abuot walking 4 blocks to the store for food!
I just went outside to take some pictures. I nearly froze to death in a minute. It's really cold out there too!
We got about 20" of snow here in Rochester, plus had the highest wind speeds of the state at 44 mph!! Now I'm watching more snow falling today and the flakes keep getting bigger...Gotta admit it's pretty though!
