I know that board was buzzing earlier and had lots of bees online, I was just wondering who is still hanging out. I only need about 30 more posts before I reach 1,000 and was wondering if I could do it tonight or would have to wait until tomorrow. I wouldn't mind staying up for an hour or so more chatting, but I'm not sure who's still on the boards.
I'm still here (or rather I just got back)... for a few more minutes anyway. :)
Hi Charm bracelet! It's not even 11 PM in Cali, so I'm still with ya... but only for a little while longer b/c I have to wake up at 6 AM tomorrow. Yikes!

Isn't it fun to check back in every so often to see what's happening on the boards? sometimes I go away but just have to come back on and check!
I'm still here! Only 11 pm on the West Coast. You are so close to 1000 - I don't mind chatting for a little while. The post-a-thon is dead now anyways.
You know how our posts have different colors. For example mine is pink and spaniel is kinda yellowish? When does that happen? I just noticed it right now.
Hm.. might be something wrong with your monitor. :) Different bee levels have increasingly darker shades of green for higher levels... but pink?
Oh, I know it has to do with Bee Levels, but they just recently changed the colors I think! I think you might get a light cream color at 1000, but I have to check.
I think i am just woke up and now in a hurry to manage my work and reach to the office at time then i will chat with you people at night.....
I think Spaniel is right!! It's probably your monitor. I can FAINTLY see the outline of pink on yours, but I think it has to do with my color settings, not bee level.
Spaniel, you don't see a light pink color around my words? Valhalla has it on her posts too.
Here are the bee levels - I think they colors start at 1000.

Nope, not at all! I don't see any pink! I do know they use a green background and no outline, so I'm not sure where this pink might be coming from...
Cheerful, my heart goes out to you. As a fellow-Californian, I don't like anything colder that 50 degrees, so I don't want to imagine 30.
That is so weird. We're going to have to ask Mr. Bee or Penguin about this. Or I need to go have my vision checked. Do you see color around your posts?
Oh, and the colors begin at 500, I believe I've read before... and since I see a very very faint background color for Valhalla and Charm Bracelet both, I'm sticking to it. ;) I can't tell if they are different colors, though.
Yah the comment highlights are shades of green... they start at busy bee and increase in intensity as people level up. :-)
But on some monitors, the comment highlights show up as other colors. I've never heard pink though!
I just see a more saturated shade of green background behind my posts... nothing around it though.
Mr Bee how'd you do that? Are you really on here all hours of the day and night? Well, I guess it's my screen then. I see pinks, yellows, and blues too.
They show up as pink on mine and yes, charmbracelet has a light pink. Spaniel is a yellow.
Yes - 30 degrees is totally unreasonable!! The Italians just keep laughing at me though as I shiver. I'm the ultimate winter spectacle: the California winter virgin.
I'm pretty close to leveling up too, but just at the 200+ post! :)
I am willing to bet it is your monitor. Almost all the posts show up as shades of green for me, although I was able to see what you were talking about with a slight pink - it is probably really a very light green!
Sigh, hate to abandon you Charm, but I must head to bed - I have to pack tomorrow for a VERY early morning flight on Wednesday. Good luck reaching Busy Bee, and don't fret if you don't get it tonight - tomorrow is a whole other day :)

Maisymay, we were all there once. I never thought I'd reach 500 when I was at your level. Then in the summer I was on all the time. It's been more gradual from 500 to 1,000.

The Busy Bee comments have always had a little bit of a tint to them on my monitor. Straight on they look like a cream/light pink, but if I tilt my monitor then they look green.

Mandalynn you're right!!! I tilted my monitor and now it all looks like different shades of green. Personally, I like the pink better.
