Sadly, not me. I couldn't justify spending THAT much on shoes just for one day, but if you or anyone else can - YAY for you!
I got some beautiful blue Ann Taylor shoes that were on massive clearance several months ago.
In my mind I'm buying blue Louboutins for the wedding but reality might have different plans for me...
It's all going to depend on whether I can find cute designer sandals with a tiny kitten heel. I'm pretty tall and want to be significantly shorter than my fiance on our wedding day :o)
I don't really need an excuse. :) We're having a beach ceremony, so I'll probably be barefooted!
I'm in the same situation hotchildinthecity. I'm only 5'4 but my FI is 5'8 so 4 inch are out since I want to look smaller than him in the photos. BUT wait till the reception when I bust out some tall heels to dance all night in!
Worldtrekkerbride: I'm 5'8" and fiance's "only" 5'11". I always tell him I usually don't date guys that "short" haha ;o)
I'm looking at Manolos, Loubouitouns, and Jimmy Choo-The Louboutins I would die for are $1200 so um...no...but I would spend $500-$600 on wedding shoes. I ususally buy shoes that are around $150-$200 so it doesn't seem toooo out of my reach. .
Is it bad that even though I am having a beach ceremony and I will probably be barefooted the whole night or in flip flops I still want to/plan on buying some sexy shoes? Haha.
ME! I am so excited about my shoes. I bought midnight blue Christian Louboutins. Just like these, but blue.
Oh *raises hand* for sure! That is how my fiance convinced me to be agreeable to the wedding instead of a courthouse! He is a sneaky one!
I'm in love with these two for the wedding:

and
and then for our rehearsal dinner I'm wearing these:

*drool*

These are my dream shoes. I'm kind of glad that my dress is ivory so now I can't spend $800 on these! I'm sure I'll find some other Christian Louboutins to obsess over though!
i kind of like these. it could all change depending on what i finally decide for my gown. and even though i'm having a beach wedding....i still want pretty heeled shoe photos taken!

now to find another pair of flat sandals to wear for the beach!
I would really, really like these Rolando Louboutins. I tried them on and even wore them for my boudoirs... but the reality is I can't spend $700 on shoes. Even if I love them. Plus they are one inch too tall to go with my dress(right now I need NO alterations with the purple non-designer, hott heels I've got!) But... I can dream. :-)
the first time I saw Louboutins I new I wanted a pair for my wedding but soon realized it was impossible. soooooo out of my budget. I got my wedding dress at a good price $250 on ebay a pronovias la sposa one which was a steal so I cinvince myself to get a pair. lol I couldnt find Louboutins in deep purple so I settled for bridal shoes grazia valentine. until last week I feel in love with some Louboutins and I knew I had to have they were 738 OMG so out of my budget I emailed the website and they offered me 20% omg limited edition color I knew I had to own them now I do. :) attached is a picture of my dream shoe.
oh my sister offered to help me with half so I couldnt own them. :)
*Raises hand* me, me, me! I have one to die for pair of Manolos in my closet, and must have more... my dream wedding shoe is the Manolo Something Blue, but there are some gorgeous Christian Louboutins that I also have my eye on.
I sold shoes all throughout my freshman year of college, too! So glad I quit that job, it was awful.
Oh...all...these...pretty...shoes! Me want so bad! lol.
I'd love to be able to get a pair. I've never owned a designer pair in my life. *sigh* We're having an outdoor wedding, so we'll see if I can find anything.
I heart lilyfaith's shoes. I'm still trying to decide if I can justify it...we'll see.
@Lilyfaith: I used to live on Sheffield & Addison across from Wrigley. :-)

How many of you lovely brides out there are indulging in some MAJOR designer shoe shopping by using the excuse that it's your wedding? I am the only one buying mutiple pairs for the wedding and honeymoon?!?!
Let me be honest here, I sold shoes for over 5 years to pay my way through my last year of HS and 4 years of college so I kind of love shoes and have a stuffed closet to prove it. But now that I no longer have an employee discount *sniffle sniffle*, I sure am working hard on budgeting so that I can get them!
What do ya'll dream designer wedding shoes look like?
