I'm watching it! I really dont know who I am rooting for on this one! I am a Husker fan and we played a tough game against Texas, and they best us by 1 point! I would love to see Texas get beat by Alabama!
I'm watching. As a Michigan fan, I'm not a big fan of either team, but I respect both programs. I pretty much hate Nick Saban from when he was at Michigan State, but I'm going to guess that Bama wins it.
I am rooting for Alabama but they are making me mad!! Two turnovers already!!
I went to to A&M for undergrad and even though I went to UT for law school, it hurts me a little to root for Texas. But it will be good for the Big 12 if Texas wins, so I'm sporting my burnt orange today!!
I'm watching. As a grad from Texas A&M (no need to talk about the Aggie's season ;), I want to route for the big 12, but a little part of me wants Texas to lose.
LOL @ Jessie. I am a bit of a MSU fan myself, only because my lil bro goes there. In the days of Vince Young, I rooted for Texas. Tonight, I'm watching, but mostly because FI is. And now I want to know what happened to Colt McCoy!
@llc2011 - I am the same way! I cringe at the thought of wanting UT to win for the sake of the Big 12.

I guess you could say i'm watching since it's on TV and i'm on the couch and DH is watching....more or less, lol
Ugh. I am. I'm not a football fan (to put it mildly) but the FI is a HUGE fan football . . . so "we're" watching the game. That's when I take out the laptop and go on weddingbee, lol.
Just ordered a pizza and am tucked in watching the game! Don't have a preference or prediction... Guess I'm going for Texas because I just LOVEEEE that burnt orange color and my dog loves her Bevo toy :)
Another Husker and Big 12 fan....can't say that I love rooting for Texas, but then I could say at least my team was 1 second away from beating the National Champion.
Moi!! Is it crazy that i burst into tears when they were talking about the kid that died of the heart attack in 86?
I am an Auburn grad! Alabama's biggest rival but I am still cheering for them! GO SEC!
I'm a Trojan fan, so there is still some bitterness with the longhorns, so I say Alabama. Hope they make it.
Hook 'EM Horns here...my FI is an Alum (our bedroom is even painted burnt orange! Took a long time to find a comforter set to compliment that).
I think McCoy may have jammed his shoulder in the tackle

Ouch... Wish Colt could come back in, this is a dissapointment of a big game. Bummer :(
i'm watching it and i'm in the same boat as jessie. as an umich alumna, i'm bitter about texas beating us in the rose bowl in 2004 [never mind they shouldn't have been there. cal got robbed!] and saban coached at michigan state. but i guess i i dislike texas more so go 'bama.
We're cheering for Texas since hubby is an alum and as an Auburn alum I'm ok with cheering for Orange instead. But I'm worried....wish Colt could come back!

Stinks to have a player get injured, especially QB. OU feels your pain UT.
I feel sorry for Gilbert. Poor young guy. I'm sort of watching, but that's b/c it's on. Only one tv! FI is cheering for Texas . . . or more accurately, not for Alabama.
This is the kind of situation where someone young like Gilbert could shine. Too bad that's not happening. I feel bad for Texas. At this point, I'd rather see Ingram get record rushing yards.
@llc I am in the same boat, as an Aggie I want to see the Big 12 do well but I can't find it in my heart to root for them, lol. Feel bad for Gilbert though, true freshman QB quarterback in the national championship, yikes. Pressure!

this game is nutty. bet the bcs execs are patting themselves on the backs for getting a good game out of this matchup
It's hard for me to root for Texas because I'm an Aggie. I do feel bad for Colt to get out of one of the biggest games of your life.
I really hope Colt McCoy is going to be OK. He has a potential NFL career in front of him if his shoulder is OK.

I'm a Gator fan, so while I do hate Alabama, I had to root for the SEC! So I'm glad that as a conference we have won the last four National Championships.
But I feel awful for Gilbert, being put on the spot like that. He played pretty well for a backup freshman QB with the weight of Texas on his shoulders. I hope McCoy is ok though, hopefully he rested himself in order to protect his NFL career, and it's not a more serious injury.

I'm at a conundrum on this, I'm an OU student and fan, so UT is our arch enemy. But I'd like to see the Big 12 win too.
Any predictions out there?
I'm saying 45-42 UT.
