Honestly, I bought my dress from my very favorite designer - Jim Hjelm! Such gorgeous gowns :) Sigh... only wish I could wear it again...
Ooooh. pretty! He did my sis' wedding gown! It was gorgeous 15 years ago!
Well I would have to go with Maggie for one because thats who my dress is by
and I have to definetly go with Monique Lhuillier, such whimsicle dresses! love them
I love Monique Lhuiller, Jim Hjelm, and Alvina Valenta. But I went with a Casablanca instead!
In my shopping I loved: Pronovias, Modern Trousseau, Augusta Jones, Priscilla of Boston.
I liked Maggie Sottero but I didn't want a corset back.
I bought a Casablanca and am VERY happy with it...I just need to ignore every other gown out there between now and April 2010...do-able. RIGHT???
i got a maggie, but now really starting to love Jim Hjelm but little too late for me!
I get to wear my favorite designer...Claire Pettibone--I feel so lucky!
I loved La Sposa in pictures, but I didn't love the dresses in real life. But all of my favorite (realistic) dresses right now are Allure Bridals.
I may be old fashioned but I still love Vera Wang gowns... If only I didn't have a DB budget
Oooh fun thread! I'm going to have to go with the budget busters - Monique Lhuillier and Vera Wang. Sigh. Not in the cards for me unless I win the lottery.
I love Priscilla of Boston and the dress I'm getting is from J.Crew, so they're a favorite, too!
Love Maggie Sottero... and my dress (a Maggie) isn't a corset back, so it is possible AnamCara
I love Jim Hjelm and Priscilla of Boston. My dress is a Jasmine and I lovelovelove it!
I love Maggie as well and my Maggie dress is also not a corset back.
Wow, I am finding a lot of good sites through this thread! Bellenga, I gasped when I saw that Martina Lianga site, I LOVE those dresses!
I think my fave designers are the ones who carry the kinds of dresses I'm obsessed with. I have this very distinct look I love - satiny fabrics with luscious draping and unique touches like a single crystal/rosette strap. My faves:
Demetrios - especially the Illusions/Sensualle lines
Maggie Sottero
Enzoani
Cosmobella
Anjolique
Melissa Sweet
Kenneth Pool (darn you Kenneth, why are you so expensive!)
Casablanca
Romona Keveza
Stephen Yearick
Valenta
I cry alittle inside every time I see a Ines de Santo gown. They are sooo gorgeous!

We have a fun thread about fantasy wedding gowns and who'd be your designer.
Let's see who is our fave real life wedding gown designer?
Mine would have to be a cross between Martina Liana, Inez di Santo, maggie sottero, and Anjolique.
