IMO, yes. If you provide transportation one way, you should also provide it the other way.

@FutureMrsDavis10132012:  Will the bus take them back to their cars? Let’s say, at 10:00 pm everyone leaves or something like that?

The bus can’t be round-trip?  I’m not sure… that’s why I’m really trying to have my reception at the same venue as the wedding… Is there lots of public transportation between the two places?  If it’s not that many people, could they take cabs, or even carpool in cabs back?

Well most people will be traveling with a date or SO…so the SO can move the car from the ceremony to the reception.  If not, then maybe a friend can drive them back eventually.

Can everyone park their cars there and then carpool to the ceremony site? That way their cars will be there when the reception is over. What about their dates, are they riding on the bus too?

@FutureMrsDavis10132012:  Can you have the bus do a pickup at the hotel to take everyone to the ceremony? That way the cars are at the hotel and the bus only has to wait through the ceremony.

@KatNYC2011:  This is what I was going to suggest, too. It seems to make the most sense.

This is very common. At least for the weddings I have been in or attended. We are all carpooling to the church then having parents and other friends transfer vehicles. As we (bridal party) are taking a trolley.
