Hang in there! Maybe surprise him with some late night kisses when you get home from work tmrw night if he hasn’t done anything today?

Waiting sucks. Frown Guys don’t think of VDay as something big, but make it special because you find it to be special. He’ll get the hint, I hope!

FI has been on his stupid xbox all weekend and tomorrow we will both be busy… Maybe since I already said I would marry him, he thinks he can stop trying lol

I know what you mean.  I know we don’t really celebrate or care for it, but I figured he’d at least spend time with me today.  He’s been on and off of his damn game.  -rolls eyes-

I have to be up at 5 am tomorrow for work.  I’ll get home by 3:30.  See him for maybe 2 hours before he leaves for class that’ll be until 9:30.  By the time he gets home, I’ll be in bed because I’ll have to be up again at 5.  So, I was kind of expecting something, but I guess not.

@Wonderwoman217:  UGH!  Mine plays WoW too…he’s been on all day because they have to get their holday missions accomplished before tomorrow.  It’s driving me fricken nuts because even though I have the night off from work tomorrow night and we have plans to celebrate, we both had the day off today and he’s probably uttered 5 sentences to me all day.  We almost never both have an entire day off together so it’s irking me just a little bit…

Hi there,

I am not celebrating Valentine’s day this year. Why? Because my bf went on a business trip for A WEEK starting on Sat coming back on the next Sun. Ugh.

And check this out, his birthday for which I was planning things since 2 month ago, is the day after valentine’s day. Ugh. HE WON’T BE WITH ME FOR V-DAY AND HIS B-DAY!!! SUUUUUUCKS!!!

I hope you’re having a good one…

@Wonderwoman217: here’s hoping that you won’t be called in for work!

your story DOES strike a chord with me though, my fiance is the EXACT SAME WAY..

at least before he was.. he’s on the passive side and doesn’t really plan much, doesnt really take initiative to do things unless i mention it.. like for our anniversary last year (of getting together, not married yet!), he did nothing. like literally nothing. i even told him we should do something since it’s going to be the last time we’d get to celebrate that day before we get married (cheesy i know, but im like that lol).

anyways, it takes a lot of nagging, which i hate to do myself, but a guy wont know what you like/dislike/enjoy unless you just so simply say so! and by saying so, i mean to repeat it enough so it gets through eventually and STICKS! lol

good luck and i hope you have a wonderful valentines day! if he doesnt do anything, id say you take more incentive and set things up and then say next year, it’s his turn to make the plans! he can go by your example πŸ™‚
