Mine is a nickname from a couple of aunts since I was a baby and 23 is my birth date and I'll be 23 when I get married :-)
I honestly didn't think about it that much... I never in a MILLION years think that I'd have so many posts.
I picked mine because everyone remarks about how we're getting married in Arizona (hot) in August (hotter) and because it's the name of my blog :o)
mines pretty boring... my nickname is krissy and i'm a fellow "bee" on weddingbee! 
My favorite candy- I eat lemondrops by the pound! Nope, not my avatar's name :)
Mine is just my name - there wasn't much thought put into it, hehe! :-)
Oh, man, I was having a particularly uninspired moment when I registered! My name is pretty self-explanatory :P
mine is the first part of the email that Auburn University gave me! It stuck adn has become my name very anything internet!
Mine is short for my childhood stuffed animal that I still keep by my bed - jenny duck. I named my duck after my sister's friend.
it is the name of our blog.. we thought we were going to do this whole Scots/Irish theme... now... not. so. much. hahah
I think about changing it all the time but my blog is set, my usernames all over weddingtown are set, and my email is set... path of least resistance... keep the name ;-)
sulli301 is my college email. I also have "sully" as my cars plate....I have been called "sully(ie)" for my last name since I can't even remember for my last name :)
Mine's cos the fella and I really want to buy a Cockerspaniel puppy once we've moved into our own house - and we want to call her Sparkles!
My parents nick-name for me is Lilybee. :-) So, when signing up for a site called weddingbee, I knew I had to use it. lol
i'm getting married labor day weekend.. and weddings are a labor of love!!

To answer your question- my name is Terry and yrret is Terry spelled backwards and my bday is oct 7 so 107
I picked mine because on October 10th I will be Mrs. Close :D
Holy cow...that is the first time I have written that out...it looks AWESOME!!!!!!!
Amaryllis is my name on some other sites as well. I originally picked it because:
1. Etymologically, it means "to sparkle."
2. It is just such a pretty name itself.
3. It is a flower. I love flowers.
4. I love Christmas in addition to flowers, and it is sometimes known as the winter or Christmas lily.
Why, yes, I am a ginormous nerd; why do you ask?
Mama Bear is his nickname for me. (his is Papa Bear) I added Ms. because I saw everyone else with it on there.LOL

I'm a interior designer by training and a floral designer as current trade. My sis always calls me Miss Designer when she has a interior design question to ask, so it was just logical!
@stlginkgo--I too am a total science geek.
I am a PhD student studying carbon and many of the usernames I have had since I was 12 have had the Girl in them. It's like a superhero reference or something.
It's the title of the song I was named after. Yep, the Rod Stewart song. And my mom still sings it at the top of her lungs EVERY time it comes on.
Because I lloooovvveeee me some manga. Anime aswell, but that's a whole 'nother can of worms. ^-^
