Haha I KNOW right?! It's like they know the best stuff only lasts for a little while. I used to be addicted to that soda Citra in the late 90s... what happened to that?!?! :)

Applebees had this freaking awesome salad a couple years back - I think it was called the Bourbon Chicken salad - see, it's been gone so long I can't even remember the name! It had blackened chicken breast & little potato squares, on top of a bed of greens & veggies...yum..I got it almost every time I went, and then one day it was just gone. I was sooooo not happy.
And with a lot of stuff, you don't even get the "for a limited time only" warning. They just take it off the menu, or whatever...never to be seen again.
Also, my husband totally misses the McRib. :( McDonald's is always a disappointment for him.
I hate it when restaurants you frequent end up closing. that's another thing that just disappears :(
@okqueenbee: Wow, that sounds DELICIOUS! So wish I would've had the chance to try it. Or maybe I don't now...:)
I hate it when they don't give you the warning either! Why do they do that?! I can understand the crappy things being "for a limited time only", but the good stuff?! Come on...if it's bringing in more sales..why wouldn't you keep it?!
i so know what you mean, like pumpkin spice lattes, theyre only for one season a year. well dammit, what if i want it all year around? haha also Escada sunset heat perfume, i cant find that stuff anywhere! it was my favorite though. along with jones kiwi soda which i have no idea if they still make that or not.
Panera ditched the Turkey Fresca sandwich I was totally addicted to.. such a bummer.. So sad.
Also I don't know if any of you have ever had this but Snapple used to make mint tea... it was so awesome in the summer time. That favorite has died as well.
@jwinnings- I LOVE seasonal coffee drinks!! Pumpkin spice and peppermint mochas...yum!
I totally get what you ladies are saying on this - it makes me nuts to have a craving and not be able to satisfy it. My personal downfall is a seasonal - Starbucks Cranberry Bliss Bars. Waistline-wise I'm glad they go out of circulation after a few months but man I love those things!
Oh Cranberry Bliss Bars! How I love thee! I'm also sad that the Peppermint Mochas are going away soon!
Oh and Chili's used to have a Honey something Sirloin. They discontinued it a few years ago.

Such as Victorias Secret 55 Perfume that I was IN LOVE WITH. You can find it on ebay but the smallest perfume bottle goes for over $200 now! It's insane!
& also - seasoned potatoes from IHop...MMM so freakin good...but WHAT?! They're gone!
Zaxby's had some boneless wings they have every now and then, but it's the BEST thing they have & everytime I crave it, it's not there!
& McDonalds had THE BEST spicy chicken sandwich in the world but it's been gone for years now! Goodness how I missed those nights watching cartoons with french fries & my spicy chicken sandwich.
