Prettysmile40:  We are doing red and white (in Feb. NOT a Valentine’s theme though.)  But blue and silver and white would be gorgeous, you could do various shades of blue.  I think it is more ‘winter’ than Christmas.  Though that close, you could probably still get away with a Christmas theme.

We are too far from Christmas to make it a theme.  But as long as something isn’t obviously ‘Christmas’ (ie: with Santa, gifts, ornaments) we are still using it.  All the same greenery, etc.

I agree with Sostobe, Blues, silver & white. You can do chismas lights (white) and have some ornameats covered in silver and blue glitter hanging. I think It would be beautiful. Maybe even have a personal made snow globe with you two in it as a cake topper. you can do chirstmas themed center peises (garland, pointcentas, mistletoe). I think a winter with a touch of chirstmas theme sounds beautiful. Since your wedding is after chistmas you can score tons of decorations for big discounts.

I agree winter theme is a good theme, then you don’t have to limit yourself to just Christmas.  There are beautiful color schemes such as white, blue, clear, champagne, silver.

I found these beautiful snowflake pins on Etsy that I plan to use as a bridesmaid for a wedding in the winter.  Maybe it’ll bring some inspiration!  Also, you can fill snowflake ornaments with iridescent confetti.

  • Wedding: December 2014

I’m getting married in December and am doing navy, fuscia, blush and gold for colors.  The navy and fuscia are my darker winter colors, while the blush adds some dimension and the gold sparkle keeps with the holiday season.  I may incorporate ornaments or snowflakes, but overall my wedding is not Christmas-y.  I will be taking advantage of the fact that the church is already decorated so I won’t have too!
