I think it could be because some people open sites at work and may not want co-worker to see their screens with loads of pictures… At least this is the reason why I warn in the titles and why sometimes I would not open some posts if I’m at work.

I have never told people that as a warning… more of a way to entice people. That’s what I see it as! I see “pic heavy” I click.

I had an older computer for a while and when I opened a site with tons of photos it would freeze everytime! This was when I first started seeing warnings so I guess I wasn’t alone… Maybe some peoples computers still do that?

I love the “pic heavy” because likely it means there are lots of pretty things for me to look at, jewelry, shoes, flowers, dresses… I love it all!!!

I think it’s funny to get a “pic heavy” warning and you open it up and there’s all of 2 photos lol

The pics don’t even show up for me on my work computer, which makes me sad.  Those are normally my favorite threads, but sometimes I forgot to check when I get home to see all the pretty pictures I know I missed when at work.

@TeamMcGowan: Agreed! lol

I just think it’s weird when people appologize before, ex: “pic heavy sorry.” I want to tell them not to be sorry, but to post even MORE! hehe

Then there’s also all the “sorry for the huge photos.” I’d rather see huge pics than tiny ones. :X Plus, WB resizes them to fit the walls of the thread, so they’re never THAT huge.
