Honestly. I love Mr.Joe more than anything, but sometimes, he is just so danged annoying, and he does it on purpose! I'm not talking about leaving a mess for me to clean up type of annoying, but like the kiddy obnoxious kind. A few minutes ago he was making a loud, awful noise. I tried to ignore him, but it was soooo bad I couldn't take much of it so all I did was look at him. He stopped and smiled at me, so I just kind of rolled my eyes and turned away and then he starts AGAIN.  I asked him why he purposely annoys me and he said he was trying to get my attention lol I'm basically right next to him, seriously, he could have just said "hey wifey" or something lol Makes me laugh now, but sometimes it just really gets on my nerves lol

I'm sure I'm not the only one. Ladies, what do your men do to annoy you?

hanging up his clothes incorrectly! RARR! There are tons of pants all hanging neatly in the exact same damn way in that closet, folded perfect, but he still just lops them through a hanger and tosses them in! It irritates the poop out of me! And socks, everywhere where in the hell do all of these socks come from?! I think he bothers to wash half, lets the other half make their way around the house, and in the meantime, just buys MORE, and keeps adding to the vast sea of socks around this place

oh yes Arineya!! you just reminded me,..... re socks!

when doing the laudnry i suddenly had unmatched socks and i didnt know where the partners went. i said something like the machine must be eating the socks this week and hubby said 'no, some had a hole in them so i threw it out but i thought you would want to keep the good ones as a spares"

WTF - why would I want to keep unmatched socks as spares!

for some reason, I just had the thought of stuffing all of FI's "spare" socks inside of his spare tire in the back of his bmw, I don't know why this was the first thing that popped into my head...

    Train them.

My hubby was like that before, and it's really annoying. I praise him whenever he puts his used socks on the hamper. I praise and thank him every time he does that or whenever he hang his clothes or whenever he fix the bed. So now, most of the time, he puts away his dirty clothes and socks because he knows that it pleases me and I think he feels good when I give him praises.

lol @ pacos, FI is trained in most areas, but he knows I like to control things (um, him, maybe, kinda...heh), so he will intentionally do things to irritate me- I equate the toilet seat being left up to a teenager sneaking into an R-rated movie or smoking cigarettes behind the grocery store. Do kids smoke cigs behind grocery stores? High school? I dunno

I think my FI annoys me on purpose, especially when I am in a bad mood, because he wants to make me smile or laugh even though I am trying SO HARD not to. That just makes his day. Sometimes it backfires on him though, and I get really MAD.

My FI's latest annoying habit is listening to prank phone calls online on FULL volume. Yesterday I asked him to please lower the volume or listen to them with the headphones on if I'm sitting two feet away, I can't concentrate!

Luckily, that's one of his only annoying habits. He is neater than I am!

Puts his coffee cup in the sink when the dishwasher is RIGHT THERE.

    Watching TV at maximum volume.

Leaving little hairs in the bathroom sink when he shaves.

    Argh! ;o)

I'm the one who leaves socks around... :x lol

But he passes gas a lot. Shares way too much info about his gross bodily functions, but I'm working on getting him to tone it down lol. So far so good.

He also likes to listen to things on the computer SUPER loud. I'm generally maybe about 10 feet away on my laptop on the bed, and sometimes even with my volume all the way up I can't hear what I'm trying to listen to because his is so loud. I hate it! Sometimes he does use headphones if he knows he'll be watching awhile though. It's generally wrestling videos/clips...

Though I think this thread is hilarious, I have to just say that if all we have to complain about is our men leaving their socks hanging around or listening to something a little too loudly, we're very lucky girls Smile

hahah I love this...what annoys me?   There could be a long list...but. I find it is often the annoying things that remind me how much I love him.  If he is this annoying at times and I can still love him then I must REALLY love him! Right now the mose annoying thing he does is forgetting to change the dirty water out of the steam cleaner after cleaning a puppy mess.  He doesn't realize that it festures with bacteria and grows all sorts of smelly things.  I find out when I go to use it and the apartment is stunk up by all the things growing in the water.  I am also along with you JoesWifey..he share TMI about what he just had going on in the B-room.

my FI definitely annoys me on purpose. sometimes, he latches onto anything that is irritating me (a topic of conversation, a noise, tickling, etc) & keeps going until i nearly explode! then, of course, he's butt-hurt that i wasn't laughing with him. i tell him, "if you were trying to be funny, i'd laugh. but you're being annoying, so i'm annoyed!"

he's getting better at stopping before i'm too pissed off (which is a trademark phrase in our home, "don't piss me off!", which he thinks is hilarious & just eggs him on), but he just thinks it's funny to rile me up. i have no idea where this comes from!

I'm glad to know that I'm not the only bee on here who is messier than her FH!  I'm definitely messier.  That's probably something about me that annoys him.  But, my FH has a habit of hearing a song or phrase and then going OCD with it.  He'll sing ONE line over... and over... and over... and over...

Haha...I love this post :)  My FI definitely has an obnoxious little kid streak in him too...and soemtimes tries to annoy me on purpose.  Usually, I think he's funny....but oh man, every once in a while he drives me nuts and I lose it.  That usually keeps him on the straight and narrow for a few days :)  Honestly, that's a part of him that I love...I love that he's a big kid...I love that he's playful...I know he doesn't mean any harm...but sometimes I wish it were directed at someone else!  :)

I do look back and smile at his annoying-ness, honest. It's part of him and I feel so lucky that he feels so comfortable around me and knows that I love him that much that even if he's annoying, he can feel secure that I won't leave him or anything. It's a great feeling :)

He also thinks me being annoyed is cute which is part of the reason why I think he does it

Mine annoys me when he walks around the house and complains about dishes or laundry or whatever mess needs to be cleaned. He'll say things like "This place is gross," and then just go sit at his computer. I'm working on breaking the spoiled mommy did everything for him problem but it makes me want to strangle him sometimes Tongue out

I definitly see a difference between things he does to annoy me on purpose and things he does that just happen to annoy me.

For example, we were at a theme park last week and had been standing in line for a roller coaster for about an hour when she started to poke me, yes, poke me in the back with his finger.  I turned to him and directly asked why he was purposely trying to annoy me.  He stopped and we laughed about it, but he does that stuff all the time.  He reminds me of my older brother when we were kids.  If we were in a boring situation, he would just amuse himself by annoying me.  Now that we're older, my brother told me that he feels bad about constantly annoying me LOL :)

As for the things he does that happen to annoy me, I try to deal with them one at a time.  You don't put stuff in the hamper?  That stuff doesn't get washed!  If he left clothes in the bathtub I'd prolly leave them there during my next shower.  It may be mean, but I am no ones personal slave!  In reaction to him being a slob I've started to be a slob too and I let the toilet get really gross.  He commented on how gross it was and I pointed him twards the toilet cleaner.  It really has worked though, we are now working together for a cleaner house and he actually comments when I miss the hamper!

Ok, confession:  I actually have an entire drawer filled with unmatched socks!  I have no idea where the matches are or why I keep them!  FI laughs at my "unmatched sock drawer."

Whew..I feel better now.  I think I annoy him more than he annoys me when it comes to organization!

hahaha.  my hubs is the kind of annoying little kid like personality.  He is such a goof, but generally only around me at home.  It's like he gets all of his adult time around others and he just needs to be young again.  Oh well.

Sometimes it really annoys me, but everytime I try to just laugh at/with him.  He knows when he's being ridiculous, and he loves when I can tolerate it without getting too frustrated.  Usually he stops at that point and tells me how much he loves me and loves that I put up with his goofiness!

Okay this is a minor one but the OCD in me makes this drive me UP A WALL...

he leaves the hangers he uses in the same spot (doesn't move them to the space in our walk in closet with the empty hangers). He just yanks he clothes off the hangers and lets them hide between his clothes until I find them!

He always says it is something for me to do while I'm in the closet! hah! what?! :)

my fiance totally annoys me on purpose - the madder I get the goofier he acts!  I always tell him that it justs makes me angrier when he tries to get me to laugh and he claims I secretly love it.  I actually do, but I would never admit it!

Oh Mr. M purposely annoys me ALL the time - tickling my feet to the point of pain, sticking his finger in my belly button (I DONT LIKE ANYTHING TOUCHING MY BELLY BUTTON), whistling (I find it so annoying) -He is usually just trying to get a smily/laugh out of me but if I am in a bad mood it REALLY bugs me!
