My house will not be watching, DH is still pouting that the Steelers lost, LOL.
I dont! Or if I am I'm usually at a friends place jsut for the company and snacks.
I'm not huge into sports. But I like the Superbowl as an opportunity to get together with friends and get into team spirit. I actually made my H ask his friends to invite us over to watch the superbowl this year since we don't have cable.
I'm obsessed with commercials! Has anyone seen the Ferris Bueller spin off that's been going around the Internet the last few days?

I'm a football freak. Always have been. This year my team is out, but since DH is a die hard pats fan (gag) I bought myself a Giants jersey!

I am a huuuuge football fan. I'm glued to the TV every Sunday... So the Superbowl is a MUST. My FI watches it for the commercials though, he hates sports LOL.
I love football! It's big in our house. I'm a huge Carolina Panthers fan. My husband is a Patriots fan so we will totally be watching this game!
Because FI invited a bunch of our friends over and I will not be able to convince them to watch something else.
I'm not going to watch it since the Giants beat my team! Otherwise, I really watch it just to see my team win. :)
I despise football and baseball and have never watched a Superbowl in my life. Now ice hockey is a different matter! Go Rangers!
We're all about the food in my house. I mean, the game is on, and we watch, but we'd rather eat I think, LOL! A girlfriend was supposed to bring her wicked mac n cheese but she has to go out of town unexpectedly and is coming back Sunday morning, so she won't have time to make it :(
I got insanely into football this season (thanks to the betting pools at DH's work (I won twice!)).... I feel like I HAVE to watch to see what happens (much like a reality show season finale). :)
The commercials are an added bonus. I first started watching the game in college - we were assigned watching the commercials for a marketing class and we were tested on the content (and the advertisers) the following day. Now, it's just a fun habit. :)
@KT808: Total threadjack, but how awesome have the Rangers been this year?! One of my BMs is a huge Red Wings fan... They are playing at MSG in March and we're thinking about getting tix.
I LOVE football!!! DH and I are glued to the TV on Sundays and Monday evenings during the fall and winter for the NFL and on Saturdays for college football during the fall. I've been a football fan since I was a little kid- my dad was big into sports, so I joined in. I'm so excited for this Sunday's game... GO PATS!!! :)
Update: Mac n cheese is back on. Her brother is going to make it. Score!!!
I only watch DH wants to or there's some kind of party. My family used to always have these big Superbowls parties when I was a kid, and that was a lot of fun. There was tons of junk food (it was the one day a year my parents allowed us to eat KFC), and we usually had a ton of friends over, so we'd play outside while our dads watched the game. It was the best!
First and foremost for the food, then if it's a team I like the game, if I don't care about either team (like this year), then it's for the commercials.
For the commercials. I didn't get to watch last year because I was having an attack of appendicitis! I was so sick it was terrible... like a death flu. Hopefully this year will be much better!
Commercials and half time. The game is of no interest to me. Thankfully I married a fellow sports hater.
Football makes me think of chicken wings, thank goodness DH stopped for a beer after work and now he can bring me some. Yummmm chicken wings.
@oracle: My husband has always done fantasy football and we do pick em at work and it always makes the games so much more interesting. I have a chance to win playoff pickem! Now if i can only guess the winning team!
