    Mrs. DG    July 18, 2009   Seattle/Tahoe

So tonight we ran out to Crate and Barrel to pick up some lovely ivory silk curtains for our new double paned windows.  We actually got a great sale price thanks to it being a discontinued item and a little haggling (though that's not germane to the story...)

As soon as we got out of C&B, Mr. DG was messing around with the iPhone.  I was like, "What are you doing."  He wouldn't tell me for a second, and when I looked over, he was frantically marching his armies for some game that he plays online.  He said he forgot to do it before we left, and there would be bad consequences if he didn't do it right away.

He also said I have a free pass for life on Weddingbee because he was so busted!!!

So all you have to do is find your honey's weakness (and remind them of it) to get your free pass for life on Weddingbee :p

Ever heard of an Xbox widow?  Well I'm more of a Playstation widow, LOL.  My DH doesn't mind when I'm online.  He laughs when he hears me typing so fast, he knows exactly what I'm doing.  But he doesn't mind!  I love it!

LOL - That's funny! My hubby is currently in love with call of duty: Modern warfare. In fact, he JUST turned it on RIGHT as I was typing this! I heard the little "Beep" of the playstation, turned around and looked at him and said "huh uuuh". He just smiled at me and nodded.

    UGH.

Oh yeah, Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 has consumed hubby's life since he came out.  What's worse?  When he gets online and plays with his dad or my brother.  Then it'll last ALL NIGHT.  Now that can get annoying!

My fiancee plays Team Fortress with his "friends" (age 16 and below)...Would probably pay me to spend more time on here if it meant not nagging him about his gaming. He lives in front of that screen and we're not even married yet! I bitch and complain but secretly happy that his addiction is very PG and not internet porn or something.

Hahaha.  I have a free Weddingbee pass for life because the Dude plays NCAA football on Playstation obsessively--he and his friends have a Dynasty and they're always talking about it like it's real!  He keeps detailed notes on players, etc.  It is crazy!!

Free passes for life earned right here!  He's training an army as we speak... Apparently they need to train all night while he sleeps.  LOL!

Good thing you caught him, now there you always have the excuse that there are real people behind wedding bee vs. trainable video-game soldiers.

Lol I have a free Weddingbee pass for life as well... FI is OBSESSED with Farmville and Mafia Wars.  He spent hours on his day off "redoing his farm."  I don't see the appeal, but I'm sure he doesn't get the appeal here either :)

FI watches sports obsessively--ESPN is ALWAYS on in our apt. But for some reason, he sees it as different from WeddingBee...not sure how he figures that one!

That is really funny Mrs. DG!!  We have that situation with fantasy baseball in our house.  Oh yes, and those trainable little game guys- God forbid I move that book that is holding the controller while his little game guy trains overnight... kinda funny watching the guy constantly running into the wall, but only for so long.

I earned my free pass for Weddingbee a long time ago when we started this whole wedding planning extravaganza.  Basically I narrow down the ideas and we go over a handful of options and call it good.  This place is my best research tool.

I am however still looking for my free pass to watch my silly reality shows like The Bachelor that rot my brain.  Still looking for that one....

Lol, DG!  My husband's weakness is the discussions boards on our local newspaper website.  Totally random, but he loves to "debate" with the regulars about current issues.  :)

Aaah, I love it! My FI plays computer games and is addicted to ESPN.com, so when it's my turn on our computer he never complains that I'm "Blogging" (that's what he calls it, even though I'm obviously not a blogger).

Oh he definitely knows about my addiction to Wedding Bee.... and my other addiction to www.thefrisky.com. I check Wedding Bee at work but I don't dare check the Frisky because of some of the articles! I compare The Frisky to a better version of Cosmo that's updated on a daily basis, and has substance! hehe Check it out!

My fiance likes to "work on" his computer 24/7. Sometimes he doesn't even go to bed because he is playing with his computer. He likes the satisfaction of being able to make it do things that it shouldn't be able to do. This takes a lot of internet research and time in general. So a typical Friday night could consist of him "working on" his computer and me playing on WB and usually does.
