Maybe he was trying to see how you would take it? Or maybe he's just trying to get you all riled up? Who knows. Men are silly that way sometimes. But it's probably a good sign if he told you he wanted to do it before Thanksgiving!
He's probably just messing with you! And there's nooooooothing you can do about it! Enjoy it, and then you'll be SO EXCITED when it happens!

do you know for sure he has it already? ordering a ring can take a while to get in. they told us it could take up to 8-10 weeks. of course it depends on where he got it.
knowing he might not even have it and it's out of his control definitely helped ease my mind about waiting.
but hopefully we will get a wonderful story and pictures soon from you!
I'm sure he is just messing with your mind. The boys love to do that. I would really try to not think about it and think about something else so he thinks that he isn't getting to you. I hope he does it soon!
I am sure the anticipation is killing you! And I am sure that you will be hearing something very exciting in the next 3 days!

So as I have mentioned in a previous post he told me he bought a ring because he wanted to propose by our 5th year dating. Well it wasn't ready he ordered it at the end of October and I know he has it. I almost (note the almost) wish he hadn't said anything so I could just go about my life like I have every other year. I am so anxious I told my close friend because I just can't keep it to myself and I need her to be my sanity LOL. So I found the box (or what I think is the box) when putting away laundry. I told my friend because I was so temped to peek I needed her to tell me not to. Well she did the complete opposite and encouraged me to peek well it wasn't in the box????????? He knows me too well I think lol. She just laughed at me and told me I was silly for thinking it would actually be in the box.
Wow just writing that makes me think could they be in kahoots with each other? Her SO and mine are friends, they are friends on facebook. She is a good secret keeper which would explain why she is being the devil on my shoulder telling me to be bad and peek!! Or maybe not, maybe I am over analyzing because I can't think of anything else LOL. There goes my piece of sanity.
He told me a while ago he wanted to be engaged before Thanksgiving because we are going to my parents and will be seeing all of the family. He has a little under a week to accomplish that unless he has changed his mind....
