It’s here, the annual “I need a change, so let’s switch my hair color” debacle. Unfortunately, the wedding is right around the corner and I have put so much work and time and MONEY in to getting my hair back to my “normal” color after last year’s attempt to spice things up… But why, oh why can’t I shake this urge to go dark? Do you ladies experience this? I’ll post some pictures and you tell me what to do! FI stays out of it because in the end, he knows I’m going to do whatever the heck I want with my hair and he will love me no matter what.
This season’s obsession- Miss Fox. I know, we all love to hate her but I just can’t help swoon over her locks and fair skin.
Here I am with my most Megan-esque look:
I love being blonde, I really do and it is more me than any other color so I get scared that I will regret making such a drastic change before the wedding…

Girl, you make one hella gorgeous blonde bombshell! You be cray cray!

@misschickpea: Shucks, thanks! I usually regret my decision shortly after changing my color but my indecision always gets the best of me.

I agree!! You look fabulous as a blond… I wish I did!! 😀 Stick with the blond!

Stick with what feels like you. You don’t want to look in the mirror day-of or back on photos years later and not recognize yourself.

Stay golden girl you look great! I think it’s always appealing to have what we don’t have at the moment. Last year a stylist goofed my hair and made it pitch black. I delt with it for about 5 months and am finally a true blonde since I was a child. Even though I hated it and I look much better blonde, I still want to try it again. I think it’s just a girl thing, thinking the grass is greener on the other side….. of the hair color spectrum!

Don’t go so dark! You will look beautiful with dark hair, no doubt, but you already know how much time and $$ it takes to go from dark back to light! I’ve sat next to women who wanted to go back to blonde after going black, and it is just TERRIBLE on your hairstylist, and more importantly, YOUR HAIR! Maybe go for a darker blonde/light brunette?
Right now I’m of the mindset that sticking to your natural hair colour is best for your wedding day 🙂 Be true to who you are, and all that jazz.

Stay Blonde you are absolutely stunning….You are more beautiful than she is…

@MissP_Bee: Oooooh the only thing I can imagine being hotter than that would be some Hendricksy red hair!!! The blonde looks incredible. I know the “I have to change my hair color” itch (I’ve had basically every color in the rainbow, not always natural) but you will look like a total bombshell on your wedding day if you keep this color!

@mrsSonthebeach: Agree completely!
@MissP_Bee: I fight the same urges ALL the time (cut it, dye it, whatever) I just get so bored with the same old thing. I say wait until after the wedding. You want to feel like your most beautiful SELF on your wedding day, not your most beautiful Megan Fox. (Although her hair IS swoon-worthy)

God Lord you are stunning! STUNNING! As one of those girls with incredibly incredibly light skin (Little kids once teased me in a bowling alley cause I was ‘ glowing in the dark’) with dark dark brown curls I think you are a Blonde Bombshell!
Again, you look stunning in those pictures!

keep the blonde because as my totally fabulous frined would say “DAAAAAAMMN girl you look FFFIIINNNNNEEEE” and then you can always do a post wedding change. maybe some lowlights to get that darker feel but not going all the way?

Thanks ladies!! For now, I will fight the itch, but come January I cannot say the same thing. I may do the low lights thing as many suggest to keep things slow and steady and avoid drastic change. You are all so sweet!!

May I say, your lips are FABULOUS! I LOVE their shape. That said, I think you’d look very vintage pin-up with black hair, a la Bettie Page, but it’s a nightmare on your hair. That said, you’re an ice fox as an ice blonde. lol

You, my dear, are stunning. I say stay blonde! You worked so hard to get there, and if it’s really more you, that’s what you should feel like on your wedding day. Go dark after!!!! (And this coming from a girl who prefers dark hair on herself)
