- Wedding: June 2014
I’ve been given the green light to book a videographer/cinematographer/whatever they want to be called these days, and have sent countless info requests to videographers.
They’ve all fallen into two categories: In our budget (which is approximately 2500) but already booked, our WAY outside of our budget (like starting prices around 10k).
I’ve had a luck with a couple (and I do mean a couple) who I’ve met with, and liked, but I haven’t been wowed by anyone yet.
Yesterday I was going through Wedding Wire’s list of local videographers for the umpteenth time when I saw Vimage Studios for the first time. I clicked the link, checked out their samples…and I loved them. I thought there was no way they were in our budget or available, but I emailed them anyway.
Uh, they are SO in our budget. We could get their best package with a How We Met film, a highlight edit (3-5 min), a 20-45 minute edit, and everything else for the day, with unlimited time, two videographers, for 2k! They’ve already had another inquiry for our day, but it was a few weeks ago, so they’re still available.
So…what’s the catch? My biggest guess is that they don’t appear to have shot a lot of weddings…but I do like their highlights. Can anyone see anything I’m missing? I feel like there’s gotta be some reason that they are in our budget and available — maybe they’re really rude? Ha!
