Your story and pictures of you and your mom are amazing. I teared up at work reading this. I am so glad your mom got to see you get married and you have no regrets about anything. I am very sorry for your loss, it sounds like she was an amazing woman.

i’m so so sorry for your loss, but glad that she was able to share your day.

i lost my father to colon cancer 4 years ago, and know too well how hard the last couple months can be. <3

@CTbride2010:  I am so sorry for your loss.  You mom was beautiful!  Your story is making me cry.  I lost my mom a little over two years ago.  All I wanted to do was get married at the foot of her hospital bed so she could be there.  Unfortunately we didn’t do it and I regret it so much.  That is so wonderful she was able to be with you on your wedding day.

Like so many bees have written here, i am in tears..so sorry for your loss. What a beautiful homage you gave your mum here..and on your wedding day..this goes straight to my heart because we married too late Cry. My MIL passed away in March 27th and our wedding was June 10th..of course we knew she wasn’t 100% (she was 87 and with a few heath problems) but we always believed we would have her on our wedding day and how happy she would have been at it..you did SO well in moving up the wedding, dearest, i hope we had done that too..

I am so sorry for your loss.

My mom struggles with an illness herself and your post really reminds me of how precious my mother is to me and how fragile life is. I’m so glad she got to be a part of your special day. She was very beautiful.

Wow I love that 2nd picture. I can imagine losing my mom but your life seems to be a tribute to her and I am sure she looks down on you happy and proud. *hugs* in this hard time. I am happy you got these great pictures
