Early on in the process I was frustrated with my wedding planner's lack of communication.  I have since discovered that she simply prefers to talk on the phone, while I prefer e-mail.  That settled, we moved on to the latest details

So the  one silly, over the top thing I REALLY wanted was a horse-drawn carriage to take the new hubby and me back to the hotel.

Wedding planner called people, they gaver her a price, she confirmed it with me, and she called them back to book.  They informed her that the price had changed.  She demanded to know why, well, they apparently had just booked another event at the time we needed, and would then have to hire another carriage and drived.  It wasn't too outrageous so I said ok, (with only minor grumbling).  She calls back, and they send a contract.  Today, she calls me frantically to make sure I hadn't sent them any money yet (I'm in the middle of finals - if it can wait, it is waiting)   and tells me that they won't be available after all!  She had already called three or four other places and is waiting to hear back from them, and all I can think is, "Thank Heaven it's not ME doing that!!"
