im on a business trip to europe (im from australia) next week and while im there we are having a baby shower for our project leader

boss: a baby shower??? 
me: its what women do - get enough of us together and we'll have a party for some reason
boss: i guess you can take a boomerang
me: *eyes rolling*  how about i take newborn/baby pink ugg boots and a onesie pink outfit/bib with koalas on it
boss: oh yeah, that might be a better idea

can you imagine the face on the woman if she unwrapped a boomergang - i have visions of her thinking "why did they give me a stick for my baby"

im actually packing 4 pairs of uggs as some of the ohio ladies asked me to bring them, they cost me $100 and over there they are $200+

Boys are funny!

I thought it was weird that I got a thermometer at my shower... until I found out it was from a boy. Not that I didn't appreciate it. I registered for it. It's a nice thermometer. It's just that women usually buy something cute with the practical.
