I recently got married and had a bad experience with our floral company. I wrote a review on here telling the truth of how rude and horrible my expereince was with Christina Maria Florals Wedding & Events and now the posting is gone!!!!
Why is this? Is this why all of the vendors on here have a perfect score?

I never ever ever trust the reviews here or on the knot. Vendors can pay their way out of bad reviews.

And if someone only has one or two posts, and their super negative or super positive reviews, I would suspect either a competitor on the one hand, or self promotion, on the other.

firstname.lastname@example.org: possibly because you are new user and need to build up your posts before your reviews are seen? Similar to Yelp I guess?

email@example.com: Where did you post? My fiance is a wedding videographer and I can tell you it is EXTREMELY difficult to get a negative review removed from a wedding website. Fortunatley he has never had any, but we know from others being in the business an all. Basically the only way you can get a post removed is if it is exteremely inflammatory (and yeah a vendor you use can actually SUE you for defammation of character so watch your words when you leave a bad review, believe me it happens) or the vendor has hard proof something in your review was either a lie or not in your contract or something like that. If you don’t fit into either of the two camps its more likely there was a glitch with your post then it was deleted.

LAX03: You absolutely cannot pay your way out of a bad review. We have many friends who have had maybe 1 unfavorable review (fortuantely all the vendors we know are actually on the up and up) and thought the client was being unfair and were basically told to suck it up unless they had proof that the client was giving them a bad review based on services they didn’t actually promise to provide. My fiance is “in the biz” by the way which is why I know all this. And yes, I did use reviews to help me choose my vendors for our destination wedding! That being said those “best of the knot” type badges should be taken with a grain of salt. They don’t really mean anything.
