I chose my kid sister as my MOH and older sister self appointed herself as my Matron lol. I chose my younger sister because she's one of the people I am closest with. Why/how did you choose yours?

My MOH is also my younger sister.  We are close but I am also close with my twin sister.  I made this decision because my younger sister's boyfriend is the best man.  My twin understands its just a title and doesn't mean I like 1 sister more than the other.  I didn't want anyone to have to walk with someone else's husband or boyfriend.  This way everyone is happy and no feelings are hurt.

My MOH is like my sister ;] We actually have known each other since we were about 4 years old. We hated each other throughout our school years and ended up becoming best friends in high school. I was her MOH, so it was a no brainer that she would be mine :]

I only have one (younger) sister, and we're close, so the choice was easy for me.

My 'MOH' is my oldest friend, who also happens to be an extremely organized, micro-managing master with a pretty level head who isn't afraid to call me out on any BS (like stupid freak-outs or other unnecessary ridiculousness).

I was going to ask my big sis, but she stressed sooooo much over her wedding I would hate for her to go through that again (she's a worrier), plus she could very well be pregasaurus by the time our wedding rolls around--not that I would care, but again, I would hate to stress her out unnecessarily.

My MOH is my older sister. I was her MOH, but I picked her because we are super close and it seemed like an obvious choice. I didn't even have to officially ask her lol.

ditto--my sister appointed her self as my MOH, lol. I didn't have any choice in the matter!

My MOH is my best friend since childhood. I don't have a sister, and my best friend has pretty much been like a sister. Although we've drifted a bit due to years apart at college, she's still very much deserving of the honor.

My MOH is my younger sister.  We are only 15 months apart and used to fight like there was no tomorrow, but we're really close now, so there was no question she would be my MOH.

My MOH is one of my cousins (there are only 3 of us girls, and I'm not nearly as close with the other cousin).  I don't have sisters, I didn't want to choose one friend above others since I love them equally, and she is really, really good at organizing stuff.  She's also trained to be a graphic artist and photographer, so I trust her taste (which is fairly similar to my own), and she wants to work at a wedding magazine someday--her dream job--so I know she's excited about planning!  I think we'll have fun doing it together, and I loved being able to include her; we grew up in the same town so we're pretty close and visits are easy.

My MOH is my oldest friend in the world (known eachother since 5) I haven't officially asked her yet but plan to this weekend! I hope she says yes... we've always discussed being eachother's bridesmaid but never a MOH. We were best friends growing up and then split apart in college due to my partying ways and her more laid back style (I don't think she's ever entered a club to this day, her parents were very strict) but ever since I have been with my FI her and I have gotten closer once again. Its funny its like were on the same wavelength now (I'm more serious and family focused like her), where as I'm losing closeness with some of the "party girls" I considered my best friends for the last 5-6 years... funny how life takes a turn on you!

I actually have two MOH- they're both very close friends, and I just couldn't choose one of them since they both mean so much to me! I'm just having the two of them, and no bridesmaids. :)

My MOH is my best friend. She and I sat next to each other in our first year of high school and have been friends since. We've lived more than 3000 miles away from each other for most of our friendship but everytime we are together it seems like no time has past.

My Maid of Honor is my younger sister. We weren't very close growing up, but since we have gotten older, we have become much closer. I am also having a Matron of Honor. She has been my best friend for the past 10 years. She is getting married next Saturday and I am her MOH. Both of these girls were obvious choices for me. I don't know where I would be without either of them.

My MOH is one of my oldest, dearest, best friends. It was a really easy decision for me.

my maid of honor has been my best friend for the last 5 years. We use to call each other our "heterosexual bi-coastal life companions" BWHAHAHA! (she lives in OR and I did live in FL when we met) now that I live in TX the bi-coastal thing kinda doesn't apply...we talk nearly every single day via IM or text and she is awesome. We see each other probably 4 times a year and every time it's like we live right next door to each other! hahaha! :)

i have 2 MOHs and they're my younger and older sister.  my older sister is established, so i knew she'd be able to help with the real MOH details and my younger sister is 14 and i wanted her to feel equally as special.  i won't have any bridesmaids, just my 2 sisters at my maid of honors.  if were were having a larger wedding, i would have wanted a good friend of mine to be a bridesmaid - since it's not, i've asked her to be my day of coordinator... so, hopefully - that works out.  =D

i have two MOH's..they are both my sisters (19 & 22). for me, it was never much of a decision. i guess i just woke up one day and decided i couldnt choose one of them as MOH, so i'd just have both of them. always knew they would be in the wedding :)

My one older sister! We were already close but this has surprisingly brought us even closer despite me being the younger sister getting married first. It's been a wonderful experience for our friendship!

My one and only sister (older) is my MOH. We weren't that close growing up, even though we're only three years apart... but three years is a big difference when you're comparing 15 to 18! Now that we're older, that difference no longer matters and we're pretty close, despite living several hours (and states) apart.

She also has been married before (now divorced - long, messy story), so she's a big help in knowing what to do and what not to do (for example: do let her throw me a bridal shower; don't pay $6,000 for a super-hyper photographer no matter how good he is or how long a family history we have with him). I was also the MOH for her wedding, so it's only fair I give the punishment, I mean, title back to her. Wink

My MOH is my BFF from high school. I chose her because I know she will be a friend for life. We had a falling out at one point where we didnt speak for over 2 years. Then we reconciled because we missed each other so much and have been even closer now because of what happened. We know that we can go through anything and always be there for one another.

My MOH was my sister who also happens to be my best friend ... there was never anyone else I would have even considered. Also, she and I had had an agreement from waaaaay back that we'd do this for each other. :-)

As an added bonus, she is formidably organized. I'm ... well ... not so good with that. She totally got me sorted out the last two weeks, when I was feeling overwhelmed with last minute things.

I am an only child, therefor a sister wasn't an option. I chose a friend I have known the longest. (Of my current circle of friends), one who knows me, has great taste, can give me honest opinions and who will help me to build great memories with both before during and after my wedding.
