Fellow Bees…Please help me choose between these two wedding bands. I love the gap and having the rings look separate.
Being a hairstylist I want to wear the band on its own once in a while (mainly at work)…So I feel like it needs to have a bit more substance than just a thin band.
Please share your thoughts. Sorry for the horrible phone photos.

I like the wide band. It doesn’t look bad with your e-ring at all.

I like the wide one! I love wider bands!

@MsW-to-MrsM: Thanks!! I like it the best too so far. My FI thinks it takes away from the engagment ring…but what does he know! 😉
I need the opinions of ring savvy women.

@Brn_I_girl: I actually agree with your fiance. They’re both gorgeous rings, but they seem to compete with each other on the one finger. If it were me and I had the wide wedding band, I’d probably move the engagement ring to my right hand. But that’s just me.
I think I could handle the thin band and the engagement ring together on the one finger, though.

I like the thin band much better. The thick one is way too thick IMO

@Brn_I_girl: Regardless of what you pick, make sure you’ve worn the ring/s long enough to really get a feel of what is comfortable and which one is the look you like.
I made the mistake of custom ordering a wedding band without being able to really try it on at the jewelry store and after wearing it for about a month post-wedding, I realized I hated it. I wear a size 8 and the jewelry store only had my band in a women’s 4mm size 7 or a men’s 6mm size 10. I ordered the ring in a 5mm size 8. Because the ring is so wide, I should have gone up to a size 8.25.
I finally did what I should have done before the wedding and I ordered a couple of cheap-o cz rings online that are similar to styles I’m interested in. I now realize that even though my enagement ring is somewhat narrow, about 2.5mm, my favorite wedding band is only 1.5mm, not 5mm like I ordered.

I love a wide band but not with your ering. It’s slight overkill in my opinion. You have a lovely ering, why get a band that will compete/clash with it? I vote for the thinner band 🙂

I like the thinner band with your e-ring. The other is lovely, but does take away from the e-ring.

First, I love how you are rocking that gap!! I like both bands but the wide one would be better for wearing alone at your work.

Of the two options, I prefer the thinner band, but honestly, I don’t think either of them compliment your engagement ring.

I think it looks good, it’s on the wider side but it’s definitely not too wide.

I think the wider one is too thick to wear on the same hand as your engagement ring. I think the thinner one looks better with your e-ring.

the wide band is lovely, but the thin band seems to compliment your ring more.

I personally prefer the thinner, but that is just my taste. I sometimes wear my 2mm band alone, and I think it looks elegant and not too thin at all!
