I went through a phase where I was having wedding nightmares a lot, which is weird because I never remember my dreams! Never any teeth falling out but things. I forgot to get my dress altered, the photog didn’t show up, I ask my mom what time is is while I am getting ready and it was like 3 hours past when we were supposed to have the ceremony. It’s so weird haha! But I haven’t had one in a while *knock on wood* and I have 38 days to go!

We moved the date up from 18 months from now to a week from when the dream started. All I had figured out was my dress (which I bought in january). All of a sudden its the day of the wedding and I have to dress myself and I can’t. As in, its too big and wont stay on, then its too tight and I can’t do the zipper. The dress is now fuschia (IRL its blush/champagne). There are sleeves that won’t stay on. I didn’t have time to buy shoes so I’m frantically going through my closet trying to find an acceptable pair. I can only find one of each shoe. My accessories are scattered throughout the house and everytime I find one I realize I left one that I had just found in another room. Then I go back to get it and I realize I left the thing I just got in the room I had just been in. I make it to the church and my dress is on backwards, I’m wearing two left shoes from different pairs. My hair is a hot mess. I get there and everyone left because I took too long to get dressed. Theres a note from FI saying, you took too long, lets reschedule for tomorrow. I wake up.

Here’s my real dress for those of you who are concerned about the one I described in my dream.

ive had tons where we just forgot to finish planning the wedding (as in the amount of things we have done now are all we had done.  Now that my wedding is so close that might be okay, but this was back when we had no cake baker, DJ, bar tender, etc, and my dress wasn’t altered and just falls off)

also I’ve dreamt where FI changes back into regular cloths with his baseball cap after the ceremony, and the photographer forgets all her equipment.  And several where everybody just leaves before the wedding starts.

I havent actually had teeth dreams about the wedding, but teeth falling out dreams happen to me like every month i swear!!  My sis and I think we both have these because we had braces for so long, but who knows!

I had one just recently that I accidently cut my left ring finger off at the knuckle, and I didn’t know what to do because I didn’t want to wear my ring on my stumpy finger (it looked weird and it might fall off) but if I put it on my other hand I wouldn’t look as married.

I have had a reoccurring one since I was a small child. I’m on my way to an event, which I presume is a wedding since I am wearing a white sheath dress. The only problem is that I can’t remember anything about it… including the groom. I start to get very nervous and don’t want to marry someone I don’t know, but everything has been arranged and I don’t want to let people down.

Several things happen along  the way, including the car breaking down. I don’t want to help but I do, because I feel I chose to get married, so I have to face the music. Eventually, we get to the building. I open the doors and suddenly realise I am not getting married at all… I am accepting an award for my work instead. All of a sudden, I remember my acceptance speech and relief washes over me. Then the dream ends.

I think the ones about losing your teeth are supposed to be because you’re worried about getting old and losing your looks? I read that somewhere.

I’ve had losing my teeth dreams since I was really young– but I found the process of losing my baby teeth as a kid VERY unpleasant, and I have one baby tooth that’s permanent (no adult tooth to come in) so I often dream about that tooth falling out– eek!

This isn’t a weird wedding dream per se.. . but my SO and I have been talking about marriage/getting engaged a lot lately, and the other night I had a dream where he proposed, but we were lying in bed and it was after I had been freaking out about something and it was like he was proposing because he knew I wanted him to, and it wasn’t romantic at all. . . AND he said it in WELSH (a language he speaks fluently but I don’t understand much of)!!! So I didn’t even really know what he said! Ugh!

I have had TONS of wedding dreams. Most of them are pretty easy to interpret. Like, dreaming my parents came to my FI & I and told us they were getting a divorce and it was our fault because of the stress and cost of our wedding. Jeesh.

Anyway last nights dream was much more confusing and just plain silly.

Apparently in my dream world, it is traditional for brides to wait for it…wear a dresser drawer around their ankles. no, I am not kidding. In my dream last night trying to pick my dresser drawer. I finally decided on a lovely silver one LOL!! I was like trying them on in my dream and everything. How rediculous!!

I dreamed that my bouqets were miniature versions of what I wanted. I kept on saying “these are beautiful but they’re too small!” I then looked at the guy’s bouts and saw that they were huge!!! (they were orchids as big as their head and they looked ridiculous!)

Omg, I use to always have the teeth falling out dream. Apperantly, it’s when you are feeling insecure or you are hidding something (from yourself or from another). I havent had them in a few months, but they are so vivid!
