I am interested in buying a Wii along with Wii Fitness. HOWEVER, I live in OOOOLLLD apartment on the second floor. I am concerned that my downstairs neighbors will initially think there is an earthquake and that will then slowly fade away to resentment and anger from hearing/feeling me bounding around. I want to avoid letters and calls to the landlord!
Does anyone have a Wii Fitness and has a similar living situation? Is there at lot of stepping and pounding with it? It seems everyone I know who has one either has their own house or lives on the first floor.
Thanks for your input!

Hmm. I have a wii fit and though I use it on the first floor, I don’t think it’s that loud. Not compared to the stomping with DDR or anything like that. The only loud part would maybe be the step routines, but you have to step on the board lightly anyway, so I don’t think it would be noisy.

I wouldn’t worry about noise – you won’t be jumping around at all. The only cardio activity that requires you to jump around is running in place. I found that one pretty lame and never do it.

I don’t think you need to worry about it. I would think there is more jumping with a workout dvd.

There is lots of jumping with the Wii Active! I can be working out on one end of the hosue and my FI can be in the bedroom and have no idea!

there isn’t enough jumping or stomping to worry about it. for the most part you step fairly lightly so it would just be like walking around the apartment.

Yeah, there really isn’t that much jumping, esp. with the yoga and strength poses.
