I think any of the Lego games are fun: Batman, Star Wars, Indiana Jones - they are basically family-friendly puzzle/adventure games that will entertain adults who like the films, but will also be fin for kids. Also, Boom Blox and Boom Blox Party are both good either in multiplayer or solo. One last reccomendation is Raving Rabbids TV party - it, too, can be played alone or with a group.
Ok so I love the Lego games! We have all of them and I cannot wait for the next one to come out.
Super Mario Bros. for Wii is a lot of fun - you can play with up to 4 people. Mario Party is good for a group up to 4 as well.
I like Zelda myself, but that is not a group game. If he plays by himself sometimes, it might be a good choice.
I love the Lego games too! Indiana Jones 1 & 2 are my favourites by far, I didn't love the Star Wars one. The Harry Potter one is pretty fun too although I think it's better if you know the story and are into Harry Potter in general.
Super Mario Bros is also great. Hell's Kitchen is awful, my BIL got it for me and I traded it in a month or so later :(
Oooh and Ravin Rabbits is totally fun, best with a group. It works with your Wii Fit board if you have one which is really fun!
@bohemianbailie: What's coming out next??? I literally made my friend take the day off work when Harry Potter Lego came out so we could pick it up when the store opened and play all day. DH likes to say I'm a 14 year old boy trapped in a grown woman's body. I think he has a good point.
Thanks for the suggestions! He isn't into any of the Lego movies, so I think I'll check out Super Mario. Although I'm still open to new ideas!
@bakerella: I know we were overseas when it came out and I was dying to go and buy it when we got home!! I think the next one is Star Wars Clone Wars but I am not 100%. I have no idea why I love those games so much though but I have to play till I get the 100%!

We have a lot of present giving holidays coming up (Hubby's birthday, Chanukah, 1st Anniversary, and Valentine's Day). I'm trying to come up with some ideas for gifts and we love our Wii. We have the Wii Resort game and my hubby loves it, any other games that you bees love?
Also, if you have any other gift ideas I'd love to hear them!
