Who has done Wii Zumba? What do you think about it? Overall reviews seem much better than most DVD’s or games, so I was thinking about trying it out.
Also, do you have to use the belt with the controller?
ETA: Oops…meant to post under fitness. Oh well…

I don’t have it, but plan on getting it soon! My co-worker just told me a few weeks ago that she has it and loves it. She said it is really fun. 🙂

I’m thinking about checking it out. Better than to pay for classes!

Oooh good post, I have been thinking about getting it too – I would love to hear what other people thought of it!

Oh, I can’t wait to hear answers. I want Wii Zumba so bad!

I want it too! I have Wii Biggest Loser and it kicks my butt!

I just got it last night and it’s awesome. I’m having a bit of a hard time with the foot work, but I definitely felt it in my stomach/abs and calves from just doing tutorials and the 20 min beginner work out.

I got it for my birthday a few weeks ago (jan 5th) and it is AMAZING! I use the belt that came with it so that you don’t have to hold the controller. Like someone else said the foot work is hard (I don’t have very good rhythm lol) but it is a workout, even just on the beginner…. I do it 1 time a day, and in 15 days I lost a pant size 🙂
I do that, and also Just dance 1 and Just Dance 2 and Wii Fit. I switch off between the 4 so my body doesn’t get bored. But I recommend the Zumba for Wii 🙂
Good Luck All!!

@MaxToRoss: The foot work is ridiculous, right?! Hahaha. I can move my hips and everything else, but I get all screwed up when it comes to moving my feet. It definitely takes practice.
It can move fast too, but it’s all in fun. Doesn’t matter what you’re doing or how you’re doing it. As long as you’re moving, you’re burning those calories!

I dont have zumba but I am thinking of buying it for kinect. We have dance central and I have been trying to play it every night. It is nice because it has a calorie counter and you burn about 400 calories for every hour you play.

@tranquility: i say it’s worth a try! =) I’ve been trying to convince everyone to buy it. My Future Mother-In-Law was dancing with me last night. It makes for great fun.

After my original post, I went out and bought it. I tried it for the first time this morning and agree, the footwork IS hard. (I’m glad it’s not just me.) It was fun though! Looking forward to day 2.

I didn’t know this game existed…it sounds like so much fun!

I agree, the footwork is hard! A lot of times I just shake my hips and tap my feet to the rhythm!
