It should be fine if you let it set for a day or two before spending so much time in the water.
I've had two spray tans before going to a Mexico vacation and on a cruise and once I spent a lot of time in the pool, most of my tan went away.
I have them before almost every vacation I take, and I love the pool :)... I think you should be fine!

I am debating getting one before attending a destination wedding but don't know how long it would last if I am in the pool for 3 hours or so a day. Any advice? :)
