We are getting married interstate next week and i posted lots in advance to allow for any freight issues. What i had completely forgotten was that i hadnt had a chance to try my jewellery on with my dress yet as it had been in for alterations. im a bit concerned that it wont all match, that maybe my necklace will be too much?
This is my dress:
This is the trial hair and make up:
And these are the accessories:
Would these match?

The dress is lovely but quite big. I think That particular necklace might be a bit much. A delicate one like you are wearing in the photo would be better in my opinion. The earrings wil look beautiful with your hair up. Whatever you decide you will look beautiful, all the best for your wedding day 🙂

michellesandra: Oh my goodness, your hair and make-up trial was goooorgeous. I think you have a beautiful look going on, but tend to think the necklace may be too much. I think the elegance of your up-do with those drop earrings and your amazing dress will be a perfect statement on their own.
I wouldn’t worry about trying to find a smaller necklace, personally. I would just try with and without the one you have on the day, and then rock whatever you prefer. If you do think you might go without the necklace, it could be worth considering a bracelet, but you’d be fine without one.
Have an absolutely amazing day!

I think everything ties beautifully! I love your dress!

You look so beautiful in that dress. Just gorgeous.
I voted keep the earrings, ditch the necklace.
Have a great wedding!

I think the necklace is way too much.

I agree with everyone else here. Necklace is too much with the dress and earrings. But everything else looks beautiful!

I think by the poll options it is obvious that you were having some doubts about the necklace anyway, I agree that necklace would be too much with the very detailed bodice of your dress. it’s a lovely ‘classical’ look otherwise.

That dress!!! Its stunning.
O agree with the first poster, skip the big necklace, but everything else is perfect.

michellesandra: your dress already has SO much going on – personally I’d just wear the earrings and skip a necklace altogether. If you must wear one keep it very simple. Let your dress stand out – don’t spoil it by over-accessorising!

Your dress is gorgeous and your makeup and hair are so pretty! The detailed bodice and volume of the skirt would compete with a necklace. I voted to keep the earrings and ditch the necklace. Enjoy your wedding day!
