I've been in love with side-swept bangs for awhile but haven't actually gotten around to the PWC.  Do you guys think they are going out of style, or will they stick around for awhile?  Yeah, I know what matters is whether I like them, but I'm afraid I'll be sick of them quickly once the style fades :)

I think it depends. Sideswept bangs? Will pretty much always be ok. There are trendy bangs and there are flattering bangs. Side-swept are flattering I think and will pretty much always be in style in some variation. Some bangs, like the uber blunt bang, are trendy and may be on their way out.

Bangs in some form will always be in.  I think sideswept bangs will always be fairly classic.

I voted other because I don't think they're ever "in" as a trend or "out" of style. They're just there. Like zippylef said, they've proven their longevity. I think straight across bangs long or short tend to come and go, though I still like the look, but a side-swept bang is very flattering and timeless. I've been sporting them for 3 years or so, but then, I never did pay attention to "trends!"

I think you should go for it! They're very easy to pin to the side or on top of your head if you are bored for a day, and I know mine grow into long layers fairly quickly if you don't like them. I think bangs are a fairly safe way to change up your hairstyle for a little while.

Thanks, ladies.  Yeah, I'm definitely thinking side-swept bangs.  I think I'm ready for a change!
